Great book, it does have sad moments but it definitely is a great story with a strong storyline. Very well done by the narrator. Very enjoyable and definitely recommend this book.

Stargazing In Solitude is about bad decisions and good friends. It's about finding beauty in desperate circumstances. It's about crazy, wonderful family members. It's about making friends on whale watching trips and losing them at home.

The book's biggest triumph is making you feel like you really know Suzanne. The narrator is a huge part of this, her performance brings the story to life and makes you feel like Suzanne is there talking with you. I feel like I must have met her in high school, must have swapped stories with her about our first drinks and first dates.

Suzanne comes across as chaotic, vibrant, unrelentingly full of life and completely unable to be anything or anyone but herself. Perhaps unsurprisingly the book is exactly like that too

A fantastic piece of writing brought to life by an incredible narrator. 10 out of 10.
