About this listen
Now, presumed dead, she prefers to keep a low profile. Working as a pilot on a freighter ship, she occasionally accepts the odd refugee passenger to appease her humanitarian conscience. But things go downhill when her cargo turns out to be none other than the princess of a foreign race and her two bodyguards.
Embroiled in a galaxy-wide scheme, Captain Colderaro finds herself dodging the Confederacy Task Force, space pirates, and mercenaries intent on capturing the princess.
Can she make it to the foreign planet without losing or damaging her cargo and still protect her identity?

Story
Captain Cherry Pendit is a very improper oracle. A proper seer warns the hero, then retires to the luxury of her temple while the hero saves the day. Pfft. Boring. Cherry doesn't need a hero to defy fate. In fact, she intends to rescue the hero. There might be a few bumps along the way—like an entire alien species her oracular talent didn't warn her about—but Captain Cherry Pendit of the Delphic Dame is prepared to adapt and overcome. If only the pirates, the good guys—who might be bad guys—and her allies would just stop freaking interfering by pushing their own stupid agendas.

Story
Smuggling is supposed to be the kind of job where you're in, you're out, and no one ever knew you were there. Simple. Boring, even. But that's only when you're doing it right. Unfortunately, Avery and the rest of the crew of the Kingfisher have hit a snag, one in the form of a strange woman living in a hallway ceiling at Installation 23, and from there on out, it seems like they're ever only one jump ahead of the next guy looking to kill them.

Virtual voice is lacking
No matter how good the story Virtual Voice puts me to sleep every time. it's a single voice for all charaters. Until it can diferentiate between characters it's not worth a credit.

Story is good but virtual voice is difficult to ignore.
I think the story line was fun, but the virtual voice was hard to look past. With no emotion in the voice it’s hard to build any connection with the characters. The story also changes POV which makes the reader need to decipher which view is currently being read. I feel like the romance came out of nowhere and seemed kind of forced, again that could have been the virtual voice issue… Not worth a credit but if free I would recommend.
