We waited a while for # 4 to be released and it was worth waiting. A great series narrated by the greatest narrator in the history of audio books. A great ending to a great series.

Well worth the wait

As the fourth book in the series I knew what I was getting with this book. Yet I don’t know what changed but I felt Mr Porter’s narration was just too slow this time. I had no issue with the previous books but this time it was ruining the story for me. I had to set the speed to 1.2x and that fixed it.
With that out of the way I enjoyed the story as normal. Thanks to the author and to the narrator for a fine story.

I always hate seeing a great NSS series end. This one is no exception. But as always, it was a great ride with a great ending. Ray Porter does an amazing job with the narration! This series is definitely worth a listen! (or read if you prefer)

Feels like the author decided he was done and made a simple way to wrap things up. I can't say more without giving spoilers. Narration was good as always.

I loved 99% of the book and only didn't like some of the losses in thr book. it was amazing!

The losses and the ending are heart wrenching and happy. Kept me on the edge of my seat!
