About this listen

Abomination. That's what Thomas Brewster's father decreed him before he took his first breath. He'd always feared it to be true, then fate sent him a blessing in the form of his first love, Louella Kemp. They were inseparable and planned to spend forever together. The NBA superstar was on top of the world. Until the unthinkable happened. In the blink of an eye, he lost everything, proving the curse was real.

Recluse. It's what Tommy has become. Now, his appearance reflects the stigma on his soul, and he's determined to live out his days in self-imposed exile. That is, until the night she shows up in his garden. Jade Davies, his ex-best friend's little sister, is a line Tommy can't cross, no matter how enticing. He's fighting several battles, except, this is one he's destined to lose to the spirited artist. There are a million reasons why they won't work but only one that will conquer them all—love.

Contains mature themes.

Tommy & Jay’s Blooming Love

I really enjoyed this book. Tommy survived the brutal treatment he received from his father for many many years. But the counseling and the love Jay had for him he eventually overcame all the obstacles.. ❤️

Her love is a light in the Dark

A man who’s locked himself away from the world feeling undeserving for many reasons. What happens when a straight talking, nature loving, artist asks to hide out on his property? Fire. Overall good narration, though the female narrator sometimes mispronounces words. No excuse for this when there are so many aids out there to help. Even if it’s an old-fashioned dictionary. Also some of her male voices could use some help.
Some things were changed from the series to make this story flow. Overall, good listen.

Beautifully written

I love Tommy 2.0. I was hoping for more drama with the baby daddy. Meeting the doctor and gardener felt hallmarkish. Overall it was a nice story.

Beautiful Blooming Souls

I have read this story when it was originally released and enjoyed their paths coming full circled. These two have had tragic past that wanted to break them down or aide in self destruction. However, a voice and life within would not allow them to spiral.. Coming together was not easy or initially accepted, especially from Tommy's circle of friend's he lost, well definitely not from Zay. Jade is stubborn and can be a pain but her heart is in the right place. My only negative of this audio performance is that the female narrator made all the females sound soft and weak in their characters, and I know not fair to compare with the other audio stories from this series but when you have heard them all and then this one,..just didn't hold as strong of connection as the others. Overall good story.

Too Many Accents

The story was great. Listening to it was confusing because the voices and accents of the performers kept changing.
