About this listen

I loved this story. Loved how the story goes along with every day issues. Having issues, finding ways to forgive and grow together. Sometimes having faith in god, yourself and your loved ones, goes a long way. Marriage and devotion is important for a well balanced unit. But these characters must face the issues among themselves and each other to grow and blossom. Spanning three generations, this is a beautifully written story of love, loss, heartbreak, family and forgiveness. I highly recommend this book for everyone...it truly puts things into perspective. The advice, along with message, is heart touching and timeless. When you suspect the worst of the person you want to spend your life with what do you do? Crystal and Blake's marriage is struggling and she doesn't know what will happen. Where do you get the best advice? From your mother of course, her mother shares stories from her own parents marriage and puts things into a new perspective for Crystal. A great read! Check it out!! Crystal and Blake are only married for a year when trouble finds its way into their life. Driving through the rain, and crying so hard it's difficult to see, she finally makes it home to talk to her mom. Lisa is upset as she tries to calm her daughter down. Life is not always a bed of roses Crystal finds out as Lisa pulls out the journals she found after her parents death. Inside the writing of Natalie, Crystal's grandmother, tells a story of falling in love, betrayal, forgiveness and new beginnings. Will Crystal and Blake stay married or call it quits.
