Great Story, Well Told

I very much enjoyed this book brought to life. I was looking for reference material for a haunting circus and this is the place to go.

Not For Me

The narration was AMAZING, with sound effects and cast. I think the story is more geared towards a younger audience. I didn't feel nervous or scared, but I did a lot of laughing. It wasn't a bad book, just not for me.

I've read the book so many times, but hearing a performance of it was masterful only wish they had kept the part where Mr Dark turned into a child at the ens

Radio show

This is not a reading of the book; rather, it is Bradbury's own conversion to a radio show. It is performed by a group of different voices and musicians. It is very enjoyable to listen to. I listened to it in the middle of June, but it would be so much more enjoyable for October evenings; I may revisit this audiobook this fall! The kids' voices are kind of annoying, but the rest of the story is engrossing and exciting. Of course, there are some differences between this and the Disney movie; both are great to experience.

With a prick of the thumb

Love the book when I was young, and now that I am older I love it even more.

Feels like details are missing from the story

As a first time listener of this story, I had a little trouble following on dialogue alone. I selected this version rather than a narration of the book because I liked the different actors used to separate dialogue.

Not an audiobook

I bought on sale and didn't read enough reviews. This is as if you're sitting the the lobby of a stage production with the curtains drawn. Difficult to follow.
