A heads up would be nice.

The ending was good but felt rushed. But man a heads up would have been nice. The actual story has over in less than 2hrs and then it’s all filler. I normally don’t leave reviews but man I’m mad.

Can’t wait til January!

I am saddened that this has come to an end. But the saga will come to motion in January. I wanted the ending to go on and on, but this is my love of Solo Leveling speaking. I hope we get a second light novel about Suho and whether or not he will join his father. So worth the listen and I will start all over from Novel #1 again 🥰🥰

I love the fact it's an afterstory

The final battle was two hours long and wasn't very detailed but it was cool. Now after that, the rest is after stories, so back stories and I think a what-if story or two as well. Granted it's barely fights but if you were curious what how after the final battle it will answer all of that.

all over the place

didnt like how the story flowed, it kept jumping timelines without context. its like a weord time skip arc in the story that felt like filler. its almost like the author wrote downideas or mini stories for more addition to their book and then never added to them to make a story.
it has a conclusion and then ends with a weird opening fir possible continuation that doesnt seem like will happen.

Enjoyable

This series is no where near my favorite and I have been trying to finish this simply because I wanted to see it improve. But also, it’s a very easy listen while working.

I still think the series’ could use major improvements. This book was a nice change as it gave different points of views and stories. It was refreshing from the previous books’ more predictable writing.

My issues with this series still stands with why I wouldn’t rate it above a 3 stars.

The writing was very predictable and bland. Almost every character had the same stereotypical background bully personality. No matter if it is from a grade schooler, adult, gods or super beings who’ve lived for eons. The author couldn’t create anything new except the names.

Even when describing their actions they were copy and pasted. All gulps or develop cold sweats. Very limited range of emotions and reactions.

The minions’ are all awkwardly fanboying over Jinwoo in order to build hype or credibility to his character.

The performance was also on subpar. It’s the same level of expertise I’d expect from our parents reading to us but not on the level of what is expected of a professional. There were plenty of opportunities for the actor to improve the characters that were poorly written but instead opted to giving them the same voice, same whinny personality. I absolutely hated his take on the gods.

I genuinely don’t get why people would rate it a 4 or up when there’s plenty of books that far surpasses when it comes to world building. The only thing this book had going was how simple it was written and how every detail was clearly laid out to just make Jinwoo seem amazing.

I don’t get the bad reviews

A series that actually ties up all the loose ends. I would give it more stars for that alone if I could.

Love it!

This has been my fifth time reading through this series. I would read after every book was dropped starting with the 3rd book. Thank you so much for this amazing series!

enjoyed

I really did enjoy the series. I do agree with other people that the story could of wrapped up in volume 7. It was enjoyabl seeing the after story of everyone - where they are now on the new timeline. I always wonder what the main characters did after the main events and how everyone is fairing afterwards so strangely enough it scratch that curiosity quite nicely.

Loved it

Huge fan of the series. Chugong finished it out perfectly and I’m sure I’ll re-listen to this one as many times as I have the rest of the series.

This series is the masterpiece of cheesy perfection......

This series embraces it's roots in the likes of old Godzilla movies. The unrepentant low rate performance of effects make it a wonderful unironic new genre of storytelling.
