About this listen

Shelby Hunt has the perfect life, married to the perfect man. At least, that's what anyone would think, looking at her. They couldn't possibly know about the past five years of lonely nights, or the divorce papers still sitting unsigned on her husband's desk, or the shady business practices he's brought home on more than one occasion - often in the form of scary men with loaded guns and briefcases full of laundered cash. The truth is, Shelby's perfect life is starting to feel like a prison...one she's not sure she'll escape from alive....

Special Agent Conor Gallagher has no time for romance. As the head of Boston's elite Organized Crime division, the seasoned FBI agent is far more interested in tracking down bad guys than wining and dining dates. But when a new case steers him directly into Shelby's path, he can't help the fierce protective instincts that rise up inside him.

She needs an ally. A protector. Someone to keep her safe until the fallout from her husband's criminal activities is contained. But as Conor gets closer to the plucky brunette, that protectiveness starts to feel a whole lot like passion....

Contains mature themes.

What listeners say about So Wrong It's Right

Highly rated for:

The Audiobook Appears To Be Part Of A Romantic Suspense Series With Engaging Storylines That Blend Action, Suspense, Humor, And Romance. While Many Reviewers Enjoyed The Fast-paced Action, Lighthearted Suspense, And Intriguing Romantic Elements, Some Felt That The Storyline Was Rushed, Lacked Substance, Or Relied Too Heavily On Predictable Plots And Annoying Cliches. The Romance Aspect Was Praised For Its Humor But Criticized For Instances Of Insta-love. Overall, The Series Seems To Revolve Around Themes Of Romance, Suspense, Action, Humor, And The Importance Of Friendship.

It was ok.

This could have been a stand alone. They didn't mention the other characters at all. And why did he call her Hunt the whole time. I get it's her last name but it's her ex-husband last name. it was fine because it was free but it feels like she was obligated to pump out 5 so her heart wasn't in it.

Really great story!

Her best book out of the series. I enjoyed the series but this one was by far the most entertaining.

Weakest of this series

None of the usual wild characters were involved in this one even though the lady in distress setup was somewhat similar to the other stories. The inappropriate “agent- asset “ relationship also kind of irritated.

Good Ending

This was a good ending to the series. Book 5 makes brief mentions of characters from the previous books in the series but this one was much more of a standalone. I may have also like this one a little better than the others. Like I mentioned in my previous review all the female characters end up in some sort of trouble where they are kidnapped or something happens that they need to be rescued, this was no different with the exception that Knox Security doesn't do the rescuing, it is the FBI Agent Conor that will find his HEA with Shelby who happens to be wanted by the Bratva because of her ex-husband. I like the connection and banter between Shelby and Conor they make a good story. Worth the read.

Cute story with a couple of totally annoying cliches.

The second the x is yelling about the necessar I knew he was talking about a Faberge egg. So it was completely annoying to try to believe that the FBI did not realize that that’s what he was talking about. It was also annoying that she didn’t realize how bugged he was every time he talked about whether or not the ex was going to be OK. I can’t stand totally obvious miscommunication.

Characters

Storyline was predictable, not likely believable but still entertaining. The narrator kept your attention until the end.
