Publisher's summary
A delicious reimagining of the classic Sleeping Beauty. A fairy tale with a romantic paranormal twist.
An evil prince. An improper earl. A murder to solve.
A beautiful young woman awakens within a strange castle. She doesn’t know who she is or how she got there. All she does know is that she’s a ghost, and based on the bridal gown she’s wearing, someone must’ve murdered her...on her wedding day.
With the help of Lord Christian Sparks, an English gentleman with a penchant for swearing like a sailor, the ghostly lady begins to piece together her cloudy past and solve the mystery that led to her 500-year slumber, why a French prince is haunting her dreams, and the complexities of falling in love with a living, breathing man in 18th-century England as a ghost!

And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Ashley Perrin is fresh out of college and starting a job as a community liaison for the Third District–the city’s only sector with more alien residents than humans. Ashley’s barely found where the paper clips are kept when she’s beset with constituent complaints–from too much noise at the Annual Lupidian Celebration Parade to a trip-and-fall chicken to a very particular type of alien hornet that threatens the very city itself. And if that’s not terrifying enough, Ashley is next up at the office karaoke night.

Hauntingly Beautiful Romance
I really enjoyed this ghostly story. As the H and h try to discover the mystery of whom the ghost is and how she became a ghost there will be several unexpected twists and turns. I found it extremely fascinating to watch them discover the secrets and truths. I also loved watching their love story evolve. Tristan Hunt adds so much to this book with his narration. His voice makes the story flow smoothly and is a pleasure to listen to and enjoy. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Exquisitely Breathtaking and Utterly Enthralling
It is so hard to put into words just how wonderfully delightful this story was to savor and enjoy. Fairy tales are some of my favorite stories especially ones that are remade or twisted. There is something memorable and fun about those journeys that we all can relate to in one way or another. Another element that made this experience even better was the fact that the characters are older and not teens. For a change, I can enjoy the storyline that much more. It's like a version that is almost personalized to me.
As the story unfolds, we begin to piece together an extraordinary adventure. One strange step leads to another and before we realize it, we are sprinting to the finish. This exquisitely mysterious story will confound and entertain any reader who enjoys a intelligent storyline, incredible characters, and interesting challenges. The characters that you meet with leave a permanent mark on your heart and open your mind to endless possibilities. Walking into a new world that is as rick and vibrant as this one, is such a precious treasure that all readers will be extremely eager to enjoy once they catch a glimpse of the sublime power and endless joy offered by this wonderfully imaginative story.
The sheer pleasure of listening to the narrator's voice is like falling into silk and seduction. His brilliant performance left me completely enthralled and highly entertained. Having such a wonderful narrator can lift an already amazing story to an even higher level of enjoyment. That definitely happened with this audiobook which is a huge pleasure that I hated to see end.
I recommend this story to all fairy tale lovers as well as readers with distinguished taste. They will undoubtedly enjoy every aspect of this marvelous adventure.

So much fun!
This book was a really fun listen! I started it to have something to listen to while I was doing the dishes but ended up in a comfy chair listening to a very good story. It has romance, an evil villain and a few surprises. Definitely worth the credi!

Imaginative and fun
What if sleeping beauty wasn’t awoken? What if she continued to sleep?
I enjoyed the new twist on an old story, it was creative in its telling and the characters were wonderful. Christians personality says “Charming” in every way and he is the perfect hero for this story. And of course, you can definitely never go wrong with Tristan Hunt reading and voicing the characters!
