About this listen

The final chapter in Sergei Lukyanenko's internationally best-selling Night Watch series - a revelatory urban fantasy set in contemporary Moscow.

They live among us. They fight among us. They're the Others, a supernatural race of magicians, shape-shifters, vampires, and healers. Divided into the Light and the Dark, these rival factions have spent a millennium under a reluctant truce. Now, however, both sides must unite against the ultimate enemy.

A Light magician and high-ranking member of the Night Watch, Anton Gorodetsky fears nothing. But lately the threats are mounting. A reincarnated vampire has been terrorizing Moscow. His daughter's school is ambushed by a bizarre chimera. And the Prophets have all reached the same chilling conclusion: The world will end in five days' time.

To ward off the apocalypse, an ancient council called the Sixth Watch must be assembled. After both Light and Darkness select their emissaries, Anton must enlist the unwilling aid of the four other Great Parties: the Vampires, the Witches, the Form-Takers, and the enigmatic Foundation. Journeying from Russia to Paris, the Alps, and New York City, Anton comes in peace - but he is prepared for war. For if he fails, none are safe.

What a great finale!

This book was so amazing--and I was nearly brought to tears by the ending. I can't believe that this is the final book in the series.

Sixth Watch

How the narrator changed character voices and accents. I liked how the author ended the book and series.

The only bad thing is that this is the end.

The series is really good. The narrator does a fantastic job. I'm planning to see what other books he has done narrations for. This series is great. I saw the movies. The novels are infinitely better. My only complaint is that it had to end. However it was a better ending to a series than most. I would definitely recommend if you're a fan of the Dresden files.

best of the entire Watch series

I've enjoyed all of the books in this series to varying degrees, but this one actually maintained a good story throughout and tied in a lot of previous information and events.

The end always come...

I am a big fan of the Watch series. This final chapter is well-conceived and brilliantly executed, tying the series together well.

The performance is very well done. It is great to see a series where every entry was performed by the same narrator.

Either listen to this novel or read it. The only way you can go wrong is by experiencing it before the rest of the series.

Another great installment in the watch series. Can't wait to hear the next one, or start again from book 1.
