Publisher's summary

Does a bear shift in the woods?

Well, partially. That was what got grizzly-shifter Ted Farnsworth into trouble. He wasn’t trying to break the Secrecy Pact. He just wants people to see the real him. So he signs up with the mate-matching service Supernatural Selection - which guarantees marriage to a perfect partner. Not only will Ted never be lonely again, but once his new beaver-shifter husband arrives, they’ll build Ted’s dream wilderness retreat together. Win-win.

Quentin Bertrand-Harrington, scion of an incubus dynasty, has abstained from sex since nearly killing his last lover. When his family declares it’s time for him to marry, Quentin decides the only way not to murder his partner is to pick someone who’s already dead. Supernatural Selection finds him the ideal vampire, and Quentin signs the marriage agreement sight unseen.

But a mix-up at Supernatural Selection contracts Quentin with Ted. What’s Ted supposed to do with an art historian who knows more about salad forks than screwdrivers? And how can Quentin resist Ted’s mouthwatering life force? Yet as they work together to untangle their inconvenient union, they begin to wonder if their unexpected match might be perfect after all.

Hilarious!

Hilarious and heartfelt, Single White Incubus followed Ted and Quentin who were never supposed to meet except for a slight error on their signed-in-blood marriage certificates. A love story with cute moments and hilarious hijinks, I’d highly recommend it.

Fantastical mixed up tale of the perfect match!

Supernatural Selections. Guaranteed to give you the perfect match. This story begins a series of fun fantastical tales. The story is fun, intriguing, full of unusual and quite entertaining circumstances. Two quite opposite characters who don’t exactly fit the mold of “typical” for their species have been contracted (and signed in blood!)as ‘the perfect match’ for each other. Their Supernatural Selections contract ends in a magically induced divorce. However, even though there is an arrest and court case, love shines a light for the two who have, through trial and time, come to love each other. A solidly written, supernaturally fun tale narrated with perfection by Greg Boudreaux!

I'm dying - send an ambulance

I've been cackling for days listening to this. It's super refreshing and simply fun. There's tension but you're not pulling your hair out. If you're on the fence definitely pick it up!

Perfection - Favorite author and favorite narrator!

E. J. Russell writes some of my all time favorite characters, and makes them so real I expect to turn around and find them living in my neighborhood. This book has everything, from humor to suspense, to those incredible moments that make me hold my breath as I flip pages late into the night.
Greg Boudreaux gives voice to these amazing characters as if they were written just for him. I wish I didn’t have to wait for the next audiobook installment in this series, Vampire With Benefits.

Wonderful delivery unique story

I loved this story and concept. Two main characters of Ted a bear shifter and Quentin an incubus are paired and matched with their perfect match. Neither was supposed to be with each other however somehow the final contracts signed in blood matched them to each other. This book had so many mishaps and crazy moments as they fought to dissolve this marriage. However despite crazy concerns and things seeming like they'll never work they find happiness in each other along the way. This book came with so much humor and plenty of suspense. However I loved how things worked out. The narration was perfect and really added to the story. Definitely worth going for the audio version and checking this out.

What a cute, mildly addictive story!

This is only my second EJ Russell book and I loved this one so much more than the other one I read! While it wasn’t laugh-out-loud funny, some of the situations were humorous (poor Zeke, I mean really…) and I ended up listening to the whole thing in less than two days. Ted and Q-bert really were an odd couple but they seemed to work. There were a lot of supernaturals talked about that I have no clue what they are, but I’m somewhat used to that after Russell’s Enchanted Occasions book. The only thing I could have done without was all the drama at the end. It created a lot of what I thought was unnecessary angst and could have been completely cut out of the story without the story losing any oomph. Ted and Q-Burt’s relationship woes were strong enough on their own. But, that’s just me. I’m anti-angst. I also usually don’t like coming into a series that’s an offshoot of another series that I haven’t read, but this one had the opposite effect! Hearing about some of the other characters has made me dig up Russell’s Fae Out Of Water series to binge on after I read the rest of Supernatural Selection ones. I must know more of Alun and David! And Casamir and Rusty! Major kudos to Greg Boudreaux for another outstanding performance. He handled all the different voices extremely well (like usual) and was the perfect fit. If you like paranormal reads, do NOT pass this one by!

Story was told beautifully and the narrator was amazing. 100/10 stars if I could give them.
