About this listen

The Mount Trilogy concludes with Sinful Empire!

What's mine, I keep, and that includes Keira Kilgore.

It's no longer enough to have her in my debt. No longer enough to own her body.

I want something more.

She can try to resist, but I'll never give her up.

Nothing will keep us apart.

Not her. Not my enemies. No one.

Her debt will only be paid one way - with her heart.

Sinful Empire is the third and final book in the Mount Trilogy.

Amazing.

This series was one of the best I have read in months. Pure literary brilliance.

Love love love

Couldn’t put it down. So sad it had to end. I seriously love Meghan March and her writing skills. She keeps you guessing and you are always surprised.

Thrilling

This review is for the entire series, hands down one of the best that I've read, Kiera and Mount, and the smuttiness was off the charts..

king and queen

what an introduction into the world of Ms. March. Mount and Kiera are sexual tension from the beginning that scorch up my speakers.

Only get while on sale!!

At least with the "Beneath" series you got an entire book!! Joe Arden and Grace Grant saved this trilogy!! While it was a decent "book", MM has gotten stingy with all her books, where you have to buy 2-3 to get 1 book!!! Only worth a credit if you get it on sale, but, a great trilogy, if it was offered as some of her others!!

Have not heard a bad story yet!

Meghan March always has great storylines . I really enjoy her characters but this last 3 books should have been 2 books.

One of my favorite series

I have now listened to this trilogy at least 4 times and never get bored. There are only so many books I reread or in this case relisten to and this is one. This is also one of the first series that brought me into the adult romance/semi erotica genre of books as I have always been an action (Borne type books), or 60 realism/40 fiction (Dan Brown type novels like DaVinci Code) or fantasy angel/vampire shit...so this was a total 180 for me to get hooked on what became a COVID filled summer of nothing but 75% adult romance genre and 25% other...being that I apparently listened to over 125 different books between April 2020-Dec 2020...that is saying something.
Grace is perfect as Keira/Tempest/Magnolia and having all family from NOLA on my dad's side...Magnolia voice and few others like Odeille rang true! Her voice also is just real...she doesn't try to sound all overly seductive like other narrators but she has real inflection in words at the right spots to make her believable as...well all the women. No Female's male voice is ever going to ring true and neither is a male's female impression and if you think so...you craaazy! Joe Arden is always magnificent and his voice is so perfect for the character of Mount and as a female his voice is super swoon..I can just picture Mount and whoa what a picture I conjured up... Just saying!
I loved that the story has action, danger on multiple levels (cartel stuff and then the crazy bitch...), romance, true love in the end which actually was true lust in the beginning though the reader didn't know in the beginning. Strong boss bitch female who doesn't cower to an even stronger male personality...thank you. Even in the sex scenes, it wasn't really submission type personality no matter how much Mount wanted to break her, it was just pure chemistry and realization that hey...I might like it /always fantasized about a little something more than missionary...I loved it for all these and more reasons...thank you. (PS...REALLY Wish Grace Grant would have finished this series as Magnolia in the Magnolia duet because that narrator in that series did not make me believe she was Mags...the male voice though was spot on as her love interest which is the only reason I finished those two books...)

Perfect ending to a good Mafia Trilogy

Normally a Mafia troupe is not my jam, however, I really liked this one. Joe Arden brought Lachlan to life. His narration gives a hard to even like Mafia King heart and you can’t help but fall for him. Grace Grant was his defiant Queen, Keira, who tames the beast.
