Publisher's summary

It's been years since the Gray Man's first mission, but the trouble's just getting started in the latest entry in the number one New York Times best-selling series.

Before he was the Gray Man, Court Gentry was Sierra Six, the junior member of a CIA action team.

In their first mission, they took out a terrorist leader, at a terrible price. Years have passed. The Gray Man is on a simple mission when he sees a ghost: the long-dead terrorist, but he's remarkably energetic for a dead man.

A decade of time hasn't changed the Gray Man. He isn't one to leave a job unfinished or a blood debt unpaid.

Decent

I think this is probably my least favorite one so far. It was entertaining and ok story but the back and forth timeline every couple of chapters just made this book feel like a filler. There was some interesting back story and all but doesn’t feel as well done as the rest of the series. It’s half prequel half fill until the next story. All in all I would still recommend but it’s not an edge of the seat thriller by any means.

Another Great Gray Man story!

How it all began. The story starts at the beginning of Court's career. lots of back story and it was interesting how each chapter bounced back and forth to his first big mission 12 years ago and his current related mission today!! nicely ties up both missions in a satisfying bundle!!

Best Gray Man to Date

Mark Greaney is thee premier author of our generation. Fast pace fun and exquisite storytelling. This book should be a movie, hopefully made right. The narration by Jay Snyder is second to none and with the combo with Mark Greaney it is top notched. I NEED MORE GRAY MAN! BRAVOOO............

Pitch Perfect

The latest (and earliest) adventure is one of the best. The book manages to shed light on the character and his world. I continue to be impressed by how well crafted these books are. The Gray Man is always a great story and this continues that tradition. Worth the read.

The Gray Man series

I have listened to all of The Gray Man books and they are all excellent. The narrator is great I recognize every character when he speaks. He gives them all their own personalities.

Didn't disappoint

The story's back and forth from past to present time had me a bit dizzy. But I love this series and character. I would like to see a "grey man" movie one of these days.

Court does not disappoint

Action packed, and gives background on Court. Could not wait to get off work so I could listen further.
