About this listen

Only the most intriguing mystery could lure Sherlock Holmes from the comfort of Baker Street in the winter of 1898...and it came with the ghastly murder of a gravedigger in the most bizarre of circumstances. Thus it was that Holmes and Watson travelled to the tiny German village of Darmstadt to unmask a callous killer with an even more terrifying motive...and all within the long, ominous shadow of Castle Frankenstein....

It's entertaining enough

It is what it is for a mash up story and it had some good key plot points that is wrapped up nicely. Just wished it hadn't immediately jumped to Watson being an idiot and a whiney man at the very beginning then have him become smart. It feels like this was written by two very different people instead of one.

you get what you expect.

it's Sherlock, it's Watson, it's Frankenstein; they're boppin and stoppin crime.

whatever your imagining this book to be, that's pretty much it. Sherlock is down to a formula; nothing ground breaking, but not bad.

One of the best!!

David Whitehead’s books are always entertaining, well thought out plots with little surprises through out.
Over all a great read or enjoyable listen on Audible
