About this listen

When a nuclear-empowered Iran begins throwing its weight around the Persian Gulf, the U.S. uneasily stands by, its military weakened by years of budget cuts and unpopular, inconclusive police actions. But the new President realizes there is one weapon he can use: the newest secret cell of the CIA's Intelligence Support Agency, code-named Future Flight. Armed with speed, skill, and a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, the men and women of Future Flight set out to find Iran's key military, industrial, and command centers and destroy them - quickly, quietly, and untraceably. The team begins its mission brilliantly, but Iran and its allies soon take their war of intimidation further than anyone ever expected. With the Persian Gulf tottering and the situation escalating hourly, only Future Flight and its B-2 brethren can prevent a worldwide catastrophe.©1996 by Target Direct Productions Inc. Awesome

Great narrative, kept my attention the whole time while working. Just catching up on where I left off in the 1990's.

The entire book series is not on audible

When you start getting into this series you can no longer get the following book on audible. Or the one after that. So disappointed. This book was right in line with the others thank God they got a new narrator

It’s abridged. Why?

Narrator is great. It’s still abridged. Dale’s stories are enjoyable, most are too Russia centric. And there’s the whole missing part of Iran’s story: Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. and how they treat their own citizens and the basic antisemitism of Islam. Basic as in base or basis for Islam. I.e genocide

Tactical and Detailed

Enjoyable, though tactical/detailed, reading that contains multiple scenes of switch position description. The plot involves a maniac Iranian who stirs up action in the region and is quelled by our hero McLanahan flying a modified B-2 that does weird stuff. The characters include some Iranians, portrayed in a childlike manner, as well as some of the US leadership...portrayed the same way. The author continues his tradition of weak characters and very tactical discussions of fantasy military hardware.
