Publisher's summary

Leander McLoughlin is leader of the Ikati, an ancient tribe of beautiful, savage shape-shifters who live hidden in the forests of England. Their survival is rooted in secrecy, a secrecy threatened by the very existence of one raised outside the tribe. Charged with capturing her before she can expose their secret, Leander tracks the unsuspecting outsider to Southern California. The great warrior is prepared for a fight — but not for the effect the courageous young beauty has on his heart.

Jenna Moore spent her childhood in hiding, on the run from an unseen enemy. Now her mother is dead and her father has vanished without a trace, leaving Jenna alone to contend with sudden strange, superhuman abilities. When handsome, enigmatic Leander McLoughlin appears, promising answers to all of her questions, she knows she shouldn’t trust him. But their connection is as undeniable as the dangerous destiny drawing her home….

Great Poetry Writing

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No, Great poetry style writing, but this book literally could be taken from the Shana Abe Drakon series. So instead of Dragons we have panthers, but both are set in England, both have factions scattered around the world, both are in hiding for the colony's protection, and both deal with the premise of bringing someone back to the fold. For as well written as it was I wished the story was not so similar. Don't get me wrong I will most likely purchase her next book because she was a good writer, but I will just like to read something with less similarities from another author.

What about Justine Eyre’s performance did you like?

Justine Eyre is in a class of her own. I love her style or reading.

Could you see Shadow's Edge being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Not really, since it seem so familar.

A lot of sex

It's generally a good story of finding out you're more than a weak human. Having the opportunity to meet the person that makes u want to slap and kiss them all at the same time. its a typical fall in love in an impossible situation. could of been better but was overshadowed by the graphic sex scenes.

Horrid narration 😢

I love J T Geissinger books ❤️ . And this one is probably good too. But the narration is beyond grating. I couldn’t listen. I kept gritting my teeth. 😢
Why is this being read in a British accent? Her male British accent sounds like a snooty clown 🤡 with a sinus condition. Who could find a snooty clown sexy? 😂
So sad all that hard work to write a book only to have it ruined by 🤡

A great start

This is the first book, in what seems like is going to be, a great series. I like the slow introduction to the group of Ikati shifters. This beautiful and elusive group has lived in secrecy from the rest of the world for centuries, but when their alpha, Leander, tracks another of their kind, the world that they built for themselves is about to change.

Decent read

I am it sure why there are bad reviews this was a pretty good read with a lead to another book. Wasn’t a 5 star but it made a 4 star. And it’s free

Lovely story but

I liked the story, but there seem to be too much "fluffy stuff" (my teacher would refer to that as filler or too much scenery) there should be more dialogue between characters or action. There is a lot and I do mean a lot of times when their hair was described. At one time I started fast forwarding through some of the filler points. It is a great story unique even and I also liked the different voices used for characters. I'm going to try the next book in the series hopefully the "fluffy stuff" has died down
