This is my first audio book...I'm not sure what I was expecting but I was slightly let down by the narrators' voices. I was hoping for different people narrating ALL the voices; not just the man & woman roles doing all. With that being said, I still found the story entertaining. I'm debating listening to the rest of the series.

I'm sorry but the readers thru me off. the Male reader especially. I'm guessing this book was supposed to be sexy , but when the old monotone Male started reading, it felt like my grandfather was reading me an erotic novel. I felt very uncomfortable when he read and that just thru the whole book off
honestly, I can't continue. the female reader wasn't that much better, very bland.

Sarah Piper is one of my favorite writers. This is my second time to read this series and I ❤️ it as much as the first time through. Sarah has a way of truly drawing you into the story and anxiously awaiting the next part of the story. Definitely worth a read!

I absolutely love Sarah Piper and I think she is brilliant. My only complaint honestly is the male narrator. When he reads the female parts during his chapters he makes her sound so whiny and stupid and it really bothers me. He also doesn’t do a great job of separating the characters in my opinion. The female narrator is wonderful though and the story is worth it.

I was really shocked how good of a story this turned out to be. Obviously this is just a little piece of the story since it's like a 6 book series I think. But for the first book it is off to an amazing start. It kept me interested for the entire book and I loved everything about the world & characters the author created. I literally can't wait to start book 2 already. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes paranormal romance or reverse harem stories.

The whole series I was waiting for the plot to expand, but it stays so surface level and basic. The characters are good, but it just isn’t that complicated and as such, kind of boring and a let down.

This is a fantastic beginning to this series and it’s got all of the elements of a great reverse harem with characters that have a great interaction and a narrator that brings out the characters and makes them seem real

Utilizing two narrators. Since the protagonist is female, the female narrator would’ve been just fine, and my value for the story would’ve been much greater.
