Story
Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Story
Many Americans dream of financial freedom, but they're stuck in dead-end jobs and don't know how to get there. You don't need to be one of them. If you invested $35,000 in the stock market today, it could take 52 years for that investment to grow to $1 million. But if you invested that same amount into one single-family $140,000 rental property, it would only take 19 years. With just two rental properties, you could generate $417,000 in profit in just 10 years. Skeptical?

Hidden somewhere, in nearly every major city in the world, is an underground seduction lair. And in these lairs, men trade the most devastatingly effective techniques ever invented to charm women. This is not fiction. These men really exist. They live together in houses known as Projects. And Neil Strauss, the best-selling author, spent two years living among them, using the pseudonym Style to protect his real-life identity. The result is one of the most explosive and controversial books of the year.

Models is the first book ever written on seduction as an emotional process rather than a logical one, a process of connecting with women rather than impressing them. It's the most mature and honest guide on how a man can attract women without faking behavior, without lying and without emulating others. A game-changer.

Men have been conditioned to be the quintessential "nice guy". They're trained to be overly humble, kind to a fault, and that just "being themselves" is enough to attract and keep the woman of their dreams. Men are told to believe that conventional masculinity is toxic and to put women ahead of their own interests, passions, and purpose. This book exposes the comforting lies you've been told throughout your life for what they really are, enabling you to become a truly authentic alpha who chases excellence and leads a successful passion-filled life.

Powerful and pure gold
If you put this book into the right hands and execute the strategies in your real estate endeavors, you are already 2 steps ahead of the game. Of course, you cannot jump feet first with just this book but it details the trials and tribulations and key turning points that took Stefan from a small player to a big player to reach his entrepreneurial dreams. If real estate is something for you to look into then give this book a read. Hearing what Stefan went through gives you a clear picture whether you think you can enter the jungle and come out of it alive. RIP to a prodigy. He is a mentor to this generation and the coming generation who don't know where they are at in life.

The book everyone was waiting for
This is the book that everyone that wants to join the real estate world was waiting for.
I have read and listened to so many audiobooks that give tips and steps in how to do real estate. But this particular book is an autobiography of Stefan on how he started and continued real estate. This is awesome because its a story of the conversations, actions, and the challenges he lived to be in the game for 0 to riches. Not as other authors that tells how awesome is real estate and give some tips with a blury path. this is gold because is the actual path storytelled by the author of his life. Great job Stefan 5/5

A fantastic autobiography of the legend Stefan!
I originally purchased this audiobook on a downloadable format years ago. Since then I have easily listened to this piece a dozen times over. Stefan Aarnio goes into detail about his thoughts, motivations, decisions, successes and failures as a young man in his early twenties trying to tame the wild beast that is Real Estate Entrepreneurship. This book is easily my favorite motivational material to return to, as Stefan painstakingly writes in a very down to earth, up and coming, average joe format. This story hits so unbelievably close to the issues and mental hurdles young men go through when embarking on the entrepreneur journey, as it takes place before he became a highly successful multimillionaire investor. The highs and the lows of grinding out a successful future are neatly wrapped up in his own personal experiences, which he graciously wrote to all of us in this book. This story isn't one of immediate success, nor is it a "get rich quick" guru guide. No, this story contains all of the painful and deeply important lessons one should learn before diving headfirst into the jungle.
I would highly recommend one consume this book before touching any other piece of real estate related literature.
Respect the grind. Rest in Peace, Stefan Aarnio.

An insightful story full of useful takeaways
This is hands down one of the the best wealth building and mindset books I have ever read. Stefan tells the story of his journey from being a broke college kid to a successful real estate entrepreneur before age 30. Throughout, he takes his experiences and shows how they can be translated into useful life lessons.
There's a lot of junk out there in the financial self-help space, but this is a real gem. I can't think of any book more densely packed with profound insights than this one. I heartily recommend it to anyone, along with Stefan's other book, Money People Deal.
