One small problem for me

Blue Ryder has been Sky Lacroux's plus one for the past couple of books but now that she found her love, I am so excited he now gets a book of his own. He is such a sweetheart, I want him to find his happily ever after. Blue has been smitten with Lizzie since she was the florist for the Seaside girls wedding a year ago. The chemistry & heat between Lizzie and Blue is unbelievable but Lizzie has a secret that keeps her from having a relationship but Joe is determined. They have some issues to overcome. Will they be able to get their HEA?

I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it, however, the one small problem was that I was disappointed that not everything worked out for the lead couple. I know not everything works out in real life, but I’m one of those people that reads these novels for everything to be sunshine & happiness when they are done.

The narrator, Melissa Moran did an awesome job bringing the story to life. Her voice inflections were amazing, I had no problem differentiating each character even though there were so many different people to voice.

Addison does it again

Seized by Love at Seaside is the 5th book in the Seaside series by Addison Cole and shouldn’t be missed. You meet Lizzie and Blue. Blue has been asking Lizzie out since he met her, but she has a secret and is afraid he will find out. She owns the local flower shop but at night turns into the Naked Baker and hosts a webcast to pay for her sister’s education. She’s done this for years and hasn’t told anyone the secret. Blue Ryder has always loved Lizzie right from the first time he met her a year ago. This book is a great and shouldn’t be missed. It’s a sweet romance with no hot and heavy sex scenes. The narrator in the audiobook does a great job bringing the story to life. Definitely worth taking the time to listen to the audiobook along with reading the book. Both are a different experience but worth it.

Sweet funny Naked Baker

This is a wonderful story about trying out hardest to do all we can and finding someone who can handle all our secrets and dreams. This is the third book by this author I’ve listened to on audiobook. I find the more I listen the more I enjoy the narrator. Blue and Lizzie are two wonderful characters that anyone would enjoy.

Love Can Overcome anything

Melissa Foster writes some wonderful stories and Melissa Moran brings the to life in audio form. This is a sweet story about how love can overcome anything.
Lizzie and Blue have been attracted to each other for a long time. Blue has been
continuously asking Lizzie out for over a year but she keeps turning him down because
she has a secret. While Blue is renovating Lizzie’s kitchen, she finds it too hard to resist
him so she agrees to go out with him. Blue and Lizzie discover pretty fast that they are
in love with each other. Lizzie decides that she has to come clean and let Blue in on
her secret. Blue has to decide if he can live with her secret or let her go.
While reading this book, I was on an emotional roller coaster. Addison Cole has a way
of pulling you into the story and making you feel that you know each one of the
characters personally. Seized by Love at Seaside is part of Addison’s Sweet with Heat
series but it can be read as a stand alone.

Just the Right Amount of "Sweet with Heat"

First, and foremost, I am in love with Blue. He is so sexy and sweet - what a perfect combination. Then, there is Lizzie. He has been asking her out for a year, and she kept saying no. I would think her crazy, but she isn't. She just has a big secret. "Do you think you always have to be one hundred percent honest with the person you love? Even if it might hurt him and someone else in the long run?" This is a wonderful story, with just the right amount of "Sweet with Heat".

I enjoyed reading this book so much, I also listened to it, so I could experience Lizzie and Blue again. Listening to the always oustanding narrator, Melissa Moran, added another plus to this five star book. I very, very highly recommend this book.

Can Blue get past Lizzie’s “interesting” way to make money?

Lizzie Barber runs the local flower shop and Blue Ryder has been her friend since they met at the quadruple wedding of their friends in Seaside. Lizzie has had butterflies with him ever since. Blue is currently helping Lizzie with repairs in her home since he is a contractor, specifically her oven.

Will Blue and Lizzie take the opportunity to move their relationship forward or will Lizzie’s secret webcast, break up their relationship?

Is Blue able to accept the loving reasoning that Lizzie has this “interesting” webcast or will it become a deal breaker for him?

Melissa Moran does a great job narrating, especially some of the more interesting scenes with frosting. Listening to Seized by Love is a wonderful way to learn about Lizzie and Blue and me able to immerse yourself completely in their world.

Seized by Love at Seaside is a nice story of love and how far one will go for their family but also confronting the realities of technology and the role they play in our life. And a story that includes a hunk like Blue is never bad!

Blue and Lizze

Oh, Melissa Moran, you are the perfect narrator for the Sweet with Heat series by Addison Cole. The tone, the cadence, and the emotion in your voice are wonderful. I feel the characters coming to life as I listen to a story that I already loved from reading. It was easy to connect with the characters using Melissa Moran’s storytelling talent. I look forward to listening to more of her narrations.
Blue and Lizzie are meant to be together. They have been circling each other, teasing each other, and loving each other for a year yet Lizzie refuses to date Blue. Together they make sense, they even each other out, they protect each other, and they belong together.

I have been curious about Blue since he was first introduced as a character in Seaside. When he met Lizzie he knew instantly that he wanted to know her better but he had his work cut out for him to win her over. I loved his persistence. He dealt with being put in the friend zone by Lizzie yet never gave up hope that she would come around to his way of thinking. There were a few times that I didn’t love Blue’s reaction to Lizzie’s life decisions but he managed to redeem himself, to prove that he was deserving of loving Lizzie.

Lizzie has a secret and it is a big one. I liked that this secret was something that proved how giving, open hearted, and loving she was. While Lizzie struggled with this secret and knew that it could cause problems in her life with a boyfriend, her friends, and her family she wasn’t willing to give it up or share it just to make her life easier. Even when the secret comes out she stays strong to herself.


Seized by Love at Seaside is part of the Sweet with Heat: Summer Series by Addison Cole. The books are fun, loving, and sweet without the language and the explicit scenes. I find myself devouring them and anxious for more from Addison Cole. I recommend picking up your copy and enjoying these wonderful and fun characters.

A fight to the finish.

Lizzie is stubborn. Blue is determined. Seized by Love at Seaside is a fight to the finish. Cole explores the metamorphasis of friendship as it blossoms into love. From the heated exchanges to the stubborn pride, sparks are forever flying. Blue and Lizzie are as temperamental as they are adorable. Through it all, love is the force that drives all the drama.

Lizzie and Blue

Seized by Love at Seaside was another fantastic story by the talented Addison Cole. This was Lizzie and Blue’s story, in this story there are some secrets undeniable chemistry and all around great characters. Lizzie is keeping a secret from her family and friends and she is putting her social life on the back burner until she has helped her sister. Blue has been quite taken with Lizzie and has on many occasions asked her out only to be turned down, to be around Lizzie he works on her kitchen renovations. Soon Things start to warm up between these two and this is where the ups and down began. I absolutely loved listening to this on audiobook and again another wonderful job by the very talented Melissa Moran, I enjoyed listening to her she has a great way with her voice that you can picture these fun characters.

So Much Love!

Addison Cole wrote a clean and captivating story with this book. I love it when an author allows the listen's imagination to take over for scenes behind closed doors. The premise of the Naked Baker was great. I love how selfless Lizzie was to provide her sister with the education she wanted. The relationship of Blue and Lizzie was one of friends to lovers, which is a favorite genre of mine. I loved Blue's pursuit of Lizzie. Lizzie had much to deal with in this book, her parental approval/disapproval was huge motivation for her to succeed. Melissa Moran performed the book beautifully with her eloquent narration and appropriate emotions. Love is the recurring theme in this book, and one feels good listening. The added humor in the story was great. I loved the friends help around the cabin.
