I have just listened to the audiobook ( have also read the book) and the narration is superb. The voices used fit the characters perfectly and this gave a clearer picture of each of them.
The following was my book review:
A much shorter but also very intense book with some quite funny moments thrown into all kinds of situations which made this a rather enjoyable story. The continuing theme of passion is also very evident and I loved the bossiness of Grethe and Rutger's 'willing' participation, all in the name of producing children.
I also liked that we got to visit or revisit with some of the other characters from previous stories.
The way this book ended, it is very obvious that there is more to come and I am definitely looking forward to that!
I am very happy to recommend both the book and the audiobook as both are enjoyable and extremely entertaining.

After being betrayed by her former betrothed Grethe’s now one bitter woman when it comes to men.
After the men are found on the island she has been chosen to be paired with Rutger.
Rutger awakes with no memories of the shipwreck and finds himself at the mercy of a sharp tongued woman, Grethe.
Can Rutger warm up to this fiery vixen that has a body he lusts after?
Will Grethe be able to put that bitterness aside and truly get to know him, or will her cruel taunts and jibes push him away?
The chemistry these two have is dynamite whether they be fighting with each other or making love.
I love the storyline so far
- it is spicy
- has some funny moments
- secrets and lies
- a little bit of mystery with the happenings on the island
- catch up’s with previous characters
This story is number five of six in the series and follows along with the men trying to leave the island.
Will they be successful in the end?
Can’t wait for the last book to find out what mystery this island holds and what will happen to all the couples we have met along the way.
Another great continuation to this series.
I listened to the audiobook narration by Gareth J Davies.
His voice was perfect for this story and I always enjoy the background noises added in places into the storyline.

This series is so refreshing. The books are earthy, lusty, romantic and feel so authentic. Gareth Davis is great doing the narration, with his gravelly voice making the story gritty and atmospheric. And there are sound effects too. There is mystery and an ominous setting here with the men of the island either dying of a disease or abandoning the land and the wreck of the Viking ship that brings 6 men to the island is shrouded in mist too. Each book has a different pairing and I love Grethe and Rutger. They both suffered betrayal and abandonment so they have trust issues. They spark and argue and easily mistrust each other but they have great chemistry and hot sex. The other couples are in the background so you keep up with their stories and with each book a few more hints and supernatural events lead to the grand finale in the next book.

Seduced by the Viking, an Audiobook by Felicity Brandon and Anna Quinn is the story of Rutger and Grethe. He’s another of the men shipwrecked on the island inhabited entirely by women. He is a skilled carpenter and uses those skills to help the others. She has suffered a horrible loss that has damaged her self-esteem. There are secrets and surprises here…what will happen with this pair?? Very Good story!

This Audiobook was narrated by Gareth J Davies who was excellent in bringing the characters to life!!! He portrayed all of the emotions and angst of the characters…making the story hugely enjoyable!!

Thoroughly enjoyable listen!!

The mysterious storyline pulls you right in. The men and women are all so strong to survive all the happenings on the island. Looking forward to the next one.

Grethe and Rutger were really made for each other: both are rough and uncouth and they struggle to talk to each other and reveal their feelings. I must admit that I didn’t like neither of them at the beginning, but then I got to understand them and their motivations better and I was really happy for their HEA. The mystery of the island is more and more intriguing and I can’t wait to read the final book!
The narrator is outstanding!
