About this listen
One job interview changed my life forever….It was Storm, my ex-boyfriend standing in front of me as my future Boss.
Years ago, Storm and I were separated by his parents' misbeliefs.
Worst part was Storm did not support me and lost my trust.
Although I hated him, I accepted the job offer, because I was in need of money.
Day by day we made progress in our projects together and rebuilt trust in each other.
With our hard work, we received work awards.
On the other side our old memories resurfaced.
As old misunderstandings dissolved, and new friendships took hold.
I found myself drawn to him like never before.
Will this new beginning bring us together again?
Will Storm be pulled back down his old path?

Storm makes amends.
A G rated second chance romance. A short and sweet listen. I liked the dual POV.
The narrator did an nice job presenting this story. Her male voice wasn't all that believable, but acceptable. 4 stars for her as well.

Good story!
This is the story of childhood friends who were split by very judgmental parents. Storm's family is wealthy and his parents are the cliche couple looking down at the poor girl from the other side of the tracks. Daisy is that poor girl who Storm really liked but his parents refused to accept her because she had an inferior lifestyle. When Daisy's parents heard this, they moved away, leaving Daisy and Storm to lose track of each other. Now, as adults, Daisy interviews for a job and the boss is Storm. As they go through their memories, they rehash the past which was not a good thing. There was a lot of repetition, frequently repeating "I need to make things right for her." This story has good bones but it wasn't quite fleshed out enough.
The narration was fine, but the male voice was a little bit forced. The pace and pronunciation were very good.

Quick Listen
This is a nice quick listen perfect while working or commuting it's a bit OOT but I think that it's a bit more exaggerated because of the narration. I'm not sure what Handrock was going for but it doesn't really work well. Most of the voices especially the male characters are very, cartoonish, I guess is the word and it's pretty wooden with the MFC. Overall the story is a good one it's a bit fast paced but that's ok since it was a short story.

Great Story
This is a fast-paced quick listen. I enjoyed the story. I really felt for both the MFC and MMC. Childhood sweethearts are ripped apart by judgmental parents, Storm and Daisy are reunited when she begins to work for him. He still loves her, but he broke her heart. Will they rekindle their love? You will have to read or listen to find out.
The narration was okay, the male voices seemed a bit forced and unpracticed by the narrator though.
As always be mindful of trigger warnings, what I like you may not.
Happy Listening!
