Short but so worth the listen.

Full disclosure…NR Walker is one of my very favorite authors. Her writing makes me feel like I want to know and be friends with, not just the main characters, but the secondary characters too. Paul and Derek’s story is the perfect start to what’s turning out to be an awesome series! And, I can’t say enough good things about this narrator. He’s my favorite for bringing her stories to audio. I can hear the smiles and the tears in his voice. I honestly can’t wait for him to narrate the rest of the Storm Boys series!!

The Perfect Prelude

Short and sweet, this novella is a perfect start to the Storm series. It is lovely to have the background information. Also, so appreciate getting to know the characters who are background players after this.
It isn’t often that these are made into audiobooks, so I really appreciated getting to listen as well as read.

Nice prelude to the series. I listened to this because the 3rd book wasn’t up on audio yet. I normally don’t listen or buy such short stories but I loved this narrator and the scenery in Australia. Totally worth it.

📖 A cute and entertaining story with an easy pace and low drama. The characters are likeable and their story was entertaining. I was thoroughly enchanted with the descriptions of the universe through Paul's eyes. Nice intro into the seris.

🎧 Glen Lloyd's narration just keeps getting better. I had no problem distinguishing characters his rhythm, tone and inflections have done a good job bringing Second Chance at First Love to life.
