Publisher's summary

Lacy Snow wasn't looking for love when she met strikingly handsome and seductive Dane Braden. But how could she ignore the six-foot-three, darkly handsome god who tagged and researched sharks for a living - and made every nerve in her body tangle into an overly sensitive knot? Even her fear of sharks could not suppress their intense attraction.

As founder of the Brave Foundation, Dane Braden travels from port to port, educating and advocating on behalf of the mammals he adores - and spends his nights finding solace in the arms of strangers. The last thing Dane was looking for when he met Lacy Snow was a relationship, and the last thing he expected was to fall in love.

Fifteen months - and hundreds of flirty emails, steamy phone calls, and sensual video chats - later, they reunite and take passion to a whole new level. But as Lacy's phobia meets Dane's past love life, their steamy romance is upended, and when tragedy strikes, Dane and Lacy are forced to face their deepest fears head-on as they try to navigate their own sea of love.

A sea of stars for this awesome book!!

Would you listen to Sea of Love again? Why?

I absolutely would listen again. BJ Harrison continues to do this amazing series justice with his narrating abilities. I love the different voices he uses for all of the characters and the fact that he uses the same voice for characters from the previous books he has narrated when they make appearances in the current book. A good example of this would be Hal, Kaylie or Treat. Just fantastic!!!!

What other book might you compare Sea of Love to and why?

The storyline in Sea of Love is different from any other that I have read so there is no comparison in that respect. However since it is about the Braden family, I would compare to the other Love in Bloom books. Such an amazing series!

Which character – as performed by B.J. Harrison – was your favorite?

Oh geez, tough choice. I love his performance of Dane but he does such an amazing job voicing all of the characters and bringing them all to life I feel like I can't really choose.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

If you can understand your fear, you just may be able to overcome it.

Any additional comments?

Another amazing book in this series written by the fabulous Melissa Foster, and an equally amazing performance by BJ Harrison.

Flirty and fun

Sea of Love is the story of Lacy Snow (½ sister to Danica and Kailey aka Snow Sisters) and Dane Braden. Dane educates people around the world about the importance of sharks in our ecosystem. Lacy Snow is an account executive who was attacked by a shark as a young girl. The writing style of Melissa Foster is fun, loving, sexy, and a large family saga type of story. I enjoyed Dane and Lacy’s story more than I thought I would. These two are a hot mess. BJ Harrison narrates Sea of Love. I enjoy listening to BJ narrate for Melissa. BJ does a very fine job of narrating both the male and female characters. So far these early books have all been narrated by him. I have realized that the early books by Melissa are narrated pretty exclusively by BJ. Her more recent books have more variety in the narration department. I received an ALC in exchange for an honest review. ****

B.J. Harrison and Melissa Foster no need to say more

This is the sixth audio book I have listen to by these two amazing people. Melissa writes it and BJ reads it and together they have gold! Not only have I loved all of Melissas books I'm now loving the Audio version more. BJ just has a voice that pulls you in. I love when he talks as Hal, that slow southern drawl... his reading as Lacy and Dane is just perfect. Each book he narrates you can tell it's him, but he changes it up a little when new characters come about and he keeps true to the ones from previous books. Melissa I truly believe you picked a fantastic guy to narrate your stories. I hope he continues to be the one to narrate them. Lucy and Dane are perfect for each other, I just love how they try to go apart but just can't, you have made it to difficult for me to pick a favorite, in going to just have to say every single thing you have written is my favorite.
Thank you both for giving me something to get lost in, I have truly enjoyed every second of Sea of Love and I look forward to more on this Braden clan. A very happy reader/listener.
Anyone reading my review, just know you will love this one too. Melissa Fosters books speak for themselves and then add BJ Harrison's voice and it's perfection (in my opinion), but once you have finished I don't think you will disagree. So happy listening!!!!

Dane and Lacy struggle to survive - excellent book

This series just gets better and better! Sea of Love is the story of Dane Braden and Lacy Snow who met at a wedding. They have not seen each other for 15 months but over time have developed a phone, text, and Skype relationship. When they finally see each other they become intimately involved. But Lacy has a secret that will challenge their relationship and their future. BJ Harrison’s voice is melodious and riveting. I love how he reads patriarch Hal Braden. He also read with emotion that touched me during scenes regarding Dane’s friendship with coworker Rob. This was an excellent audiobook.

I heart the Bradens

This book is a swoon worthy book with good sex. Not sure what more you can ask for. You can read this as a stand alone but it's fun starting from the beginning because each brother while having the same moral compass still have unique qualities. The Braden men are what every woman wishes to find. I love Bj's narration you can clearly hear he's a seasoned professional.

The passion is hot. The feelings are real.

Any additional comments?

Lacy Snow met Dane Braden at her half sister’s wedding. After the wedding they both went their separate ways, keeping in touch with daily emails, texts, Skype calls, and Face Time calls. Fifteen months later they are back together, face to face, at another wedding. The passion is hot and they both know they have to face their fears to make a relationship work.

Melissa Foster has written another book about the Braden's that kept me reading all day long. The passion is hot. The feelings are real.

Dane is the type of man every woman wants. He goes out of his way to win Lacy's heart. Even when she tells of her intense fear of sharks, which is what Danes job entails, he goes above and beyond to help her come to terms with her fear and to terms with his job. As with any relationship there are bumps in the road to happiness.

Sea of love is the seventh book in the Love in Bloom series. It is also the fourth book in the Braden series. I recommend you read the others in this series but it is not necessary as each book can stand alone also. This entire series has quickly become one of my all time favorites so of course I recommend you read and enjoy the Braden's and the Snows stories.

Great Read

Sea of Love: Love in Bloom, Book Seven was a great read by Melissa Foster. Lacy met Dane Braden at a time when she wasn't looking for love. Dane is the founder of the Brave Foundation, which travels from port to port to educate and advocate for animals. Dane also wasn't looking for love or a relationship. They spent fifteen months getting to know eachother through emails, phone calls and video chats. They are both facing their fears head on but they don't know how it will turn out together. I loved reading Lacy and Dane's story and can't wait to read more by Melissa Foster. I loved listening to B.J. Harrison's narration of the characters.

Finding love later in life is worth the wait

Lacy is waiting for her happily ever after.

Dane is busy sailing the 7 seas.

Together they have to overcome a lot of obstacles.

The story is true Melissa Foster. Very down to earth yet full of fantasy. Keeping the reader totally engaged.

I am finally getting used to the narrator (BJ Harrison) of this series. The first few times I wasn’t a the fan of his voice BUT I loved the story so I plugged along. I am not sure if it is because he doesn’t have to do so many regional voices or what but this time I enjoyed listening to him.

Very moving story.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

The Braden saga continues with Dane Branden taking the plunge. Dane and Lacy have only actually seen each other once in the past 15 months. Their attraction was immediate and strong but their careers drove them in different directions and kept them apart, physically, for over a year.

Theirs is a story of learning to overcome fears. They’re both young and idealistic, determined to follow the path they have set for their lives. They’d met at Lacy’s sister’s wedding 15 months earlier and were wildly attracted to each other but did not have the time or opportunity to explore their feelings. They have been communicating with SKYPE and phone calls all this time and now Dane’s brother, Treat, is getting married and they have both arranged to take the time to get to know each other and see where it all goes.

Dane’s love of the ocean, and sharks, is his life and his livelihood. He has always used this as an excuse to never commit to anyone. He spends 98% of his life on the water, even living on his boat. No ties. He has avoided commitment ever since the loss of his mother as a young boy. Watching the pain his father has endured every minute since his mother passed has made him think that loving someone that much is not for him.

His career also poses a huge problem for Lacy, who was attacked by a shark at a young age and bears the scars, inside and out. She is afraid Dane will not want anything more to do with her if he finds out she is deathly afraid of sharks. Not to mention that she is just starting to make a name for herself in her chosen field of marketing and she doesn’t want to give up all the ground she has gained in the industry to travel the world’s oceans, even if it is with the sexiest man she has ever known.

The journey these two must make to conquer their fears is the crux of this story and I found it very moving. It makes you stop and think about your own fears, what would you do to get over them, to move forward with your life, and to have the happiness that is right in front of you, but just out of reach?

I am ready to set sail!

Another amazing book by Melissa Foster. This is the story of Dane Braden, founder of the Brave Foundation, a shark Conservatory, and Lacey Snow, one of the Snow Sisters from the original books that started the whole wonderful world of Love at Bloom.

Dane and Lacey have spent the last 15 months and burning up the phone lines, Skype and email since Lacey's sisters double wedding. Another wedding had brought Dane and Lacey back together so they could start down their path to forever love. But the road to forever love is never smooth, and they must face their own trials and tribulations along the way.

This book is a prime example of how Melissa Foster's mind has a phenomenal way of weaving together a world that is so lifelike and real that you feel like you could meet these people on the street.

Listening to Melissa's words brings a different and exciting feel to the story. My only suggestion is to be careful where you read "listen" because some of the scenes are a little steamy. Enjoy.
