Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

A fun way to learn
This is a fun and engaging way to learn all sorts of scientific facts. From Biology to to astronomy and everything in between. The narrator had a great tone to keep me interested in what was coming next. The flow of the book was very logical and did not make me feel like I was throwing noodles at the wall. The info was presented logically and in terms that people without a scientific background could understand. There was a good balance of simple and complex topics and the two extremes are woven together by some stories and explanation. I would highly recommend for some light listening that has a great educational value.

Fun Narrator and Great Audiobook for Game Night!
As a mom of three teenagers, 'Science Trivia Adventures - The Trivia Quest Series' by John Brewer was a no brainer to try for us! This audiobook is full of cool science facts and trivia that are easy to understand. It talks about all kinds of topics which we enjoyed. It included space, our bodies, technology, nature, and even quantum physics, so we learned many new facts.
We really enjoyed the energy and personality of the narrator. This audiobook makes learning fun, and my kids really enjoyed competing with each other for the right answer. I even learned a few new things myself! One thing that could be better is if the narrator took a longer pause between the questions and answers. Sometimes, the answer comes too fast, and having more time to think about it before we hear the answer would be nice. Still, this book has turned car rides and rainy days at home into science quiz show fun for our family!

A delightful and engaging read.
While I am not necessarily a science buff, I do enjoy quirky facts and I found the book to be an entertaining blend of education and fun. This book presents scientific trivia in a way that sparks curiosity making each chapter enjoyable. The book covers a range of topics, and I appreciated how easily it kept me hooked with new, unexpected discoveries. I liked the healthy eating and nutrition trivia as I learned a lot about food and its impact on our anatomy. I learnt facts that really resonates with me. While it doesn’t dive too deep into any particular area, it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys learning a little bit about a lot of things in an easy-to-digest format. Now that’s me. This is a great resource for preparing anyone for general knowledge quizzes.
