Publisher's summary

Terror strikes close to home

When a deadly terrorist plot threatens the United States, one man is determined to stop it, no matter the cost.

Dan Stone is a resourceful operator, willing to risk it all to protect his country and his community, but he’s hampered by his agency. Limited by bureaucratic restrictions, and with the clock ticking, Dan must take matters into his own hands and stop the terrorists before it's too late.

He will have to act outside of the rules and face the consequences later…if he’s successful.

If you are a fan of Mitch Rapp, you’ll love Dan Stone in his latest adventure.

Very disappointing

I was very excited to listen to this book after hearing the first six. After about 30 minutes of this book, I can no longer listen. The narration is horrible compared to the previous books. Narrator almost sounds like they have a lisp and I am not enjoying listening and cannot even finish the book. You can even hear his breathing at the end of each sentence.

The narrator

I have really enjoyed the Dan Stone series up til now. I could not listen to this book. The narrator was terrible, sounded like he was reading a bed time story. Totally boring. Put me to sleep while driving!! I guess I’ll read this one and hope the next one has a different narrator.

Narrator terrible

Narrator is abominable. I can’t understand why anyone would allow him to narrate this book let alone any book. I couldn’t listen to more than a few minutes and it was painful.
