Exceptional! "Do you know what that word means?"

Quick, witty, fun family read. Unique and endearing characters, hilarious situations, and a happy ending. What's not to like? I would highly recommend it. Music and narration cast make this a winning story.

Great story! A lot of fun. Aimed at young readers

I enjoyed the story and the characters
The only thing I felt needed some improvement was the audiobook recording. This was recorded like a radio play, but there were times that sounds dropped out or were hard to hear. I found myself backing up and re-listening to sections with the volume cranked up so I could catch what was said. This was a minor annoyance in an otherwise excellent production.

Kids Loved It

Very good performance and story. The story is broken down into crunchy chunks that worked out great for starting and stopping when you need it without breaking the continuity of the plot.

Well done.

The author really knows how to write for kids that are too old for children's books and too young for gritty adult novels.

Super Charming

I listened to the Audible Originals version of this and found it a delightful story, perfect for middle school aged kids (and adults who sometimes want to revert back).

As my 11 year old daughter said “it would be a big missed opportunity for Chris Grabenstein and Audible if they dont make it into a series!”

I agree!
