Publisher's summary

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a new fake dating, standalone sports romance featuring the hockey men you can’t get enough of and love. This steamy, age-gap romantic comedy will bring all the laughs while making your cheeks blush at the same time.

Running into your ex is never ideal.

Running into your ex who is now dating your nemesis is a literal nightmare.

That’s how I found myself in a sheer panic, reaching for the closest guy at the bar and kissing him. And to my delight he was easily the most attractive man I’ve ever seen.

The only problem is, when I tried to walk away after thanking him for his help, he stopped me with three life-changing words....

“You owe me.”

That’s how I found myself, a college girl, in a fake relationship with a professional hockey player ten years older than me.

At first it was easy.

He helped me with my internship.

I helped keep his ex away from him.

We were becoming fast friends.

It wasn’t until he started staying the night at my dorm did the rules of our arrangement become complicated.

Now my feelings are involved and even though I kissed the right man at the right time, I’m worried he’s just waiting for the clock to run out.

Great story, disappointing ending

If you are looking for a read that has plenty of witty banter and laugh out loud moments then give this title a listen.
The chemistry between the 2 characters is amazing. Ollie being outgoing and perky vs. Silas who is a gruff, hard on the outside hockey player makes for some interesting banter and one liners.
However for me, the "there it is" moment is just over played. Just once I wish authors would break from the mold. Most stories follow the same recipe, They meet, tease each other, fall in love (or lust) then the big fight or the "there it is" moment. It seems most of the time, just a simple misunderstanding.
The ending to this project could have been so much better if a little trust was written in and instead of the cookie cutter stamp, the main characters banded together to go after the miscreant.
BTW, if you are looking for spice, plenty here, just go ahead and grab a fan and a bottle of water...,

Wonderful story and even better narration

Have I told you how much I've loved reading The Vancouver Agitators? No? Well, here's me telling you that each and every book in this series is just perfect. From the whole cast of characters and all of their chemistry to the couples and their journey to find happiness with one another. These books are just great. If you haven't read any of the previous books in the series, no need. They are all complete standalones. But trust me, if you start with this one, you'll definitely want to know about the other characters that are mentioned. They all just work together as a whole wonderfully.

Right Man, Right Time is Taters story. Silas Taters, that is. He's a member of the Vancouver Agitators hockey team and one of the best offensive players. Ms Quinn starts out with a prologue that is totally unexpected and makes me hurt for this man. You already know without really knowing him that he deserves better.

Then we meet college student Ollie. She wants to work in journalism and is currently interning. She seems young and fun. But when she is out with her BFF Ross, let's just say that things go a little sideways all for the sake of saving face in front of people she doesn't even like. And that is where Taters comes in. Did someone say Fake Boyfriend? To make a long story short, Ollie and Silas come up with a deal that will benefit them both with a fake relationship.

If you are a sports romance, rom-com lover that likes age gaps and fake relationships, look no further. Meghan Quinn writes her sports well and she loves to make you laugh out loud with her characters banter and outlandish things they do. With Silas being 31 and Ollie 21, you really notice the difference in where they are personally and even in the way they act. Ollie is young and can be immature, especially when she rambles on without thinking of the repercussions, but then she turns around and is more mature than most when it comes to real life. I loved the way these two built a friendship out of trust and conversations all through a fake relationship that of course turns into more. Initially, I wasn't sure of Ollie, but she grew on me and I loved how she and Silas partnered up and supported one another.

With all that said, I’ll say this again and again.....Meghan Quinn’s books are made for audio. Maybe I would think differently if I was reading the physical book, but the audio performances seem to capture the story that much better. Jason Clarke is always perfection, but he did the damn thing when it came to portraying Silas Taters. And then there is Stella Hunter as Ollie. She understood the assignment. Their duet narration was perfection! Laugh out loud funny, banter filled, sexual tension, so sexy and great character chemistry along with visits from past characters that I've loved. What more could you ask for?

Perfection!

I LOVED this book so much!! The narrators were perfect and made me love the story even more. Going into the book I knew I was going to laugh and smile a lot and feel the emotions the characters went through. Silas was such an easy character to love, the best hero. He had some major trust issues after his high school sweetheart broke his heart. He was so in love with her and all in so it broke my heart for him when he was hurting. Enter Ollie, she’s a breath of fresh air and just what Silas needs. The way these two meet is so fun and just right for them. I loved the characters and getting to see all the other hockey players from the last book. I laughed and smiled so much while reading this book. I can’t recommend it enough. Must read!

PHENOMENAL story!!

Magnetic. Electrifying. Two opposites with an undeniable attraction that you won’t be able to put this book aside. The chemistry and banter between Ollie & Silas is angonizingly delicious. This book will have you laughing until the tears stream down your face, fanning yourself when the steam comes rolling in, and choking back the feelings like it’s nobody’s business. Stella Hunter & Jason Clarke do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality.

Funny, Sexy, Heartwarming

I had so many laugh out loud moments with this story! I loved how sassy Ollie was. Both narrators in duet brought this story to life. I have enjoyed this hockey series! Can’t wait to read the next one!

Oh. My. God. Hilarious!!

I listen to my audiobooks at work, and yes it’s a little awkward when I read the steamy sex scenes (always worried my stupid phone will switch from earbuds to speaker) - but today was SO difficult. Not only were these some of the best teasing sex scenes, but I was literally sitting at my desk CRYING with silent laughter when Posey “helped” Taters with the texts. I’m not even finished with the book and I am SO happy with my purchase! Love the author, narrators, story, everything!

Fun but she's annoying

This is a funny fun story, but the female lead was sooooo childish to distraction. I had to remember the story is for fun.

Narrators Clarke and Hunter are SO GOOD!

Author Meghan Quinn always writes laugh out loud comedy and I am so here for it! Silas and Ollie were just so darn good together and the witty banter was *chef's kiss* fantastic. I love the Vancouver Agitators and was so glad to get more from Silas and his teammates. I also adored Ollie's best friend Ross- he was a delight! After reading the book, I immediately used a credit on Audible for the audiobook and so glad I did- Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter are SO GOOD!
