Publisher's summary

A murdered celebrity impersonator. A cast of unusual suspects. A bride-to-be on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Meghan can't wait to get married to her Prince Charming. She's looking forward to starting life with her long-term boyfriend, handsome Detective Jack Irvin. When her friend proposes throwing a bachelorette party to celebrate her exit from Singleville, she reluctantly agrees.

What her friend didn't tell her was that the bachelorette party would take place out of town...in Las Vegas!

When an Elvis impersonator is found dead on stage after tasting Meghan's rhubarb pie, all eyes focus on her as the main suspect. Meghan is all shook up as she's confronted by suspicious minds who delight in assuming that she killed the "King".

With an entourage of friends who are contributing to make this the bachelorette party from hell.... And a law enforcement officer unwilling to extend her any grace.... Meghan knows she has to put aside her personal anguish and find the real killer, or she'll be singing the Jailhouse Rock in an orange jumpsuit.

If you want to enjoy a light-hearted listen, with an amateur female sleuth, mouth-watering culinary desserts, and a gripping murder mystery with a touch of romance, then you'll love Meghan Truman and all the quirky characters in Sandy Bay. Very funny cozy mystery

Meghan is newly engaged and her friends want to give her a bachelorette party. Unbeknownst to her, they have planned it in Las Vegas, where she has no desire to be. The hotel isn't so great, and her friends are willing to trade their dignity for fun. Unfortunately an Elvis impersonator has died in the presence of Meghan and her friends. She comes under suspicion of murder and is harassed for being a murder. This is an over the top funny book. I listened to the audio version and found myself laughing out loud. This book can be enjoyed by almost any reader.

I received a copy of the audio book from the author. This is my honest review.

Vegas Bachlorette Party goes wrong

Audiobook for Review

Meghan is excited to return home after getting engaged during the holidays at her parents’ home. But her friends have other ideas as they schedule a bachelor party in Las Vegas. She isn’t too excited since it isn’t her type of scene.

But Vegas soon become a nightmare and Elvis dies during a night out and she is accused of murder. She will be stuck in Vegas unless she can find the real killer. Throw in one of her friends go missing during the festivities like she has nothing to worry about.

A fun cozy adventure in Vegas.

Bachelorette party can be murder

Rhubarb Pie and Revenge is Book 18 in Amber Crewes latest series. Meghan is about to marry her handsome Detective, Jack. Meghan’s friends go to Los Vegas for the Bachelorette party. Unfortunately for Megan, the Elvis impersonator died after eating Megan’s Rhubarb Pie. Amber Crewes writes such fun stories even though they are mysteries. Elena Marino gives a fantastic performance as the narrator. She absolutely brought Amber’s story to life. I hope “Elvis” doesn’t keep Meghan from Jack!

Bachelorette Party Mayhem

The 18th book in the Sandy Bay Cozy Mysteries is about Meghan's bachelorette party in Las Vegas. This is one of those times when nothing seems to go right and once an Elvis impersonator ends up dead, the party becomes one long thrill ride. The series is fun and entertaining. I recommend it to anyone who likes this genre. Elena Marino's narration is great and her voice is clear and pleasant. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Bachelorette party from HELL

I listened to this book.

If I were Megan, I’d find new friends or do without any. They are mostly self-centered.
This was a bachelorette party from hell.

I had a hard time keeping up with the characters as Mrs. Sheridan and a few others sounded exactly alike.

Redeeming qualities were:
Mrs. Sheridan’s remarks to Megan at the end of the book. She should have told someone in the group she was departing Las Vegas. That’s just common courtesy among friends.

Megan sees the good in all.
