About this listen
How long does it take to rewire your brain? Can you rewire your brain to be happy? How can I rewire my brain from anxiety? How can I rewire my brain to be positive? Scientists once thought that the brain was locked in place after puberty. But new technology shows that our brain continues to rewire itself and never stops changing as we age.
How to reconnect your burned brain: advice from a neurologist.
Is your brain being severely emotionally unhelpful? Would you like it to be entirely restructured to be sane, sensible, and not prone to weeping hysterically when you see a puppy? You may be in luck, but only in the most general of terms. We're gradually understanding that the adult brain is capable of physical change and rewiring in response to stimuli. But if you conceive of the brain as a colossally complex series of wires and computer connections, we're still basically babies with a Fisher-Paykel chisel, banging at the circuit board.
We have two brains.
Humans have two brains, and they’re both important. We often get a feeling in our gut that someone is wrong. If we are nervous, we experience butterflies in our tummy, or if we are stressed or worried, we experience diarrhea or nausea. Our second brain sends signals to our head brain to let it know we are not okay. As a result, we might get dizzy, get a headache, or even worse, pass out.
Which hemisphere of the brain do you use most?
The theory is that people are either left-brained or right-brained, meaning that one side of their brain is dominant. If you're mostly analytical and methodical in your thinking, you're said to be left-brained. If you tend to be more creative or artistic, you're thought to be right-brained.
Brain exercises to strengthen your mind.
Giving your brain new experiences will keep it healthier. Try these mental workout exercises to prevent memory loss and sharpen your mind.
In this audiobook, you’ll learn:
- Examples of "rewiring" goals
- Let's analyze the differences between the female and male brains
- Depressed people feel all the movements of their intestines
- The stresses of the past also remain etched in the belly
- The dialogue between emotion and reason
- Anger in children: amygdala and surroundings, what happens?
- Brain hemispheres—what are they? Anatomy and functions
- Functions of the left-brain hemisphere
- Functions of the right brain hemisphere
- The eight of infinity, more than a simple brain gym exercise
- The development of reading and writing skills
- How to develop the right brain hemisphere? Exercises for non-symmetry
- Exercises to synchronize the work of both hemispheres
- Breathing exercise to harmonize the cerebral hemispheres
- Training your mind: 12 exercises you can do every day
- What happens to your brain after eight weeks of mindfulness meditation?
- The vagus nerve—senses and shapes your health

And much more!

Story
Overthinking manifests itself as an overwhelming fear that, although unrealistic, ends up taking control of your thoughts and completely blocking your actions. Excessive thinking generates excessive thinking. It is a process that feeds itself and leads inevitably to exhaustion, both emotional and physical because your mind never stops running and consuming energy. If you are genuinely motivated by the desire to reverse this vicious circle, but perhaps you never had the right approach to solving the problem, this audiobook may be what you are missing to accomplish the mission.

This breakthrough book presents a disarmingly simple idea: The way we pay attention in daily life can play a critical role in our health and well-being. According to Dr. Les Fehmi, a clinical psychologist and researcher, many of us have become stuck in “narrow-focus attention”: a tense, constricted, survival mode of attention that holds us in a state of chronic stress - and which lies at the root of common ailments including anxiety, depression, ADD, stress-related migraines, and more.

Story
This breakthrough book presents a disarmingly simple idea: The way we pay attention in daily life can play a critical role in our health and well-being. According to Dr. Les Fehmi, a clinical psychologist and researcher, many of us have become stuck in “narrow-focus attention”: a tense, constricted, survival mode of attention that holds us in a state of chronic stress - and which lies at the root of common ailments including anxiety, depression, ADD, stress-related migraines, and more.

Consciousness is our gateway to experience: it enables us to recognize Van Gogh’s starry skies, be enraptured by Beethoven’s Fifth, and stand in awe of a snowcapped mountain. Yet consciousness is subjective, personal, and famously difficult to examine: philosophers have for centuries declared this mental entity so mysterious as to be impenetrable to science. In The Ravenous Brain, neuroscientist Daniel Bor departs sharply from this historical view, and proposes a new model for how consciousness works.

Fabulous book!!
I think this was helpful in separating physical anxiety from anxiety brought on by the mind. Even though they are inter connected I found it helpful and comforting to distinguish the two and find helpful techniques to use for either.
