Publisher's summary

Revealed: The Missing Years is the final piece to Aleatha Romig’s Consequences Series puzzle. Follow the twists and turns as secrets are revealed, consequences are delivered, and the future is shown.

In Convicted we saw what happened that fateful afternoon at the Rawlings Estate. Now experience the shocking repercussions firsthand. More than a companion, this full-length novel fills in the gap of time that was only mentioned, beginning when Claire Nichols forgets and seen through the eyes of collective men (the HIS is plural).

In Revealed: The Missing Years, listeners will see Anthony Rawlings fight for what belongs to him and cope with the reality of his past. Watch as Harrison Baldwin discovers the truth that threatens his beliefs, and as John Vandersol comes to terms with his revelations. Witness Phillip Roach, as he decides with whom his loyalties lie, and Brent Simmons, as he demonstrates the meaning of friendship - no matter the cost. As the pieces of the puzzle fall into place, Revealed: The Missing Years goes beyond. This final installment of the series offers a glimpse into the future of the lives that will forever be changed because there was a man who...

Once upon a time, signed a napkin that he knew was a contract. As an esteemed businessman, he forgot one very important rule - he forgot to read the fine print. It wasn’t an acquisition to own another person as he’d previously assumed. It was an agreement to acquire a soul. (Aleatha Romig, Convicted)

Revealed: The Missing Years also contains a complete glossary of characters and a timeline that covers the entire series. If you have read New York Times best-selling author Aleatha Romig’s Consequences, Truth, and Convicted, you must learn the rest of the story: Revealed: The Missing Years!

I Love This Series

(Spoiler Alert) I don't know where to start this review. I love this series and I will miss Tony and Claire very much. This book started off where Convicted left off. I can't believe that Emily and John thought that Tony tried to kill them when he and Claire risked there freedom to save them. I hate Emily I know she thought that she was doing what was best for her sister but I don't think that she realized what she did to Claire to me by not allowing her friends or people to see Claire prolonged the psychosis I think that if they had talked about Tony she would have came out of it a lot sooner then the two that it took. With Meredith's help, and I also think that refusing to let her see her daughter was just wrong. Catherine was just plan evil and I know that her and Tony were working together but she really hated them and for what Tony's grandfather deserved to go to jail he was cheating people she blamed everyone when she was the person who really killed him. When this series first started I hated Tony in the first book and in the following books I fell in love with him he CHANGED and I was really proud of him, he loved Claire and Nichol and was willing to do anything for his family he took responsibility for the things that he did not only to Claire but to others. I was heart broken when he wanted to divorce Claire, but I understood why he did it he wanted her to want to be with him of her own free will not what she was programed to be by him. Although Tony hated Meredith's book I think that it helped him really see how Claire felt about the things he did to her and it crushed him the prison therapy was the right way to go for him reality therapy has away of helping you focus on what you did and this is why you are here. I also hate Amber she was a surprise I thought that she was Claire's friend and I really didn't see that coming she hated her because she was jealous that Simon was unable to move on so she killed him I think it was good that Tony helped her company not for her but for Simon. I also thought that it was funny that Patricia offered herself to Tony as I remember she didn't like Claire to begin with she wanted him all along. I loved Phil he was willing to help Claire no matter what I think Phil loved her and Claire knew but she didn't feel the same way. I wonder what Tony would have done if he knew how he felt. I am sad to see this series come to an end Ms. Romig's did a great job on it and I have loved every book in it I cried when I finished it. I am looking forward to reading her future work if it is anything like this series I will love it. I am so glad that she included an epilogue Tony and Claire had a son Emily and John had a girl and Patricia is no longer breathing thanks Phil.

Necessary For Understanding Book 5

Revealed: The Missing Years (a.k.a. Book 4 Consequences Series)

ATTENTION: This book is absolutely necessary to understanding Book 5

From the original review ~ Claire Nichols meets a charming man while bartending. Against all of her rules she takes him up on his offer for dinner. She awakes to Hell… Kidnapped, assaulted and violated in every way by a cold man. He, Anthony Rawlings, a successful, very wealthy man has holdings all over the world but now his focus is on Claire. To survive, Claire learns that she must follow his rules. Each decision has a consequence, it can be good or it can be very, very bad.

I urge you to read the publisher's summary, on each book, for more details, as I'm afraid adding to it may it inadvertently reveal spoilers.

This psychological thriller has been sitting in my library for a few years, I purchased it when it was on sale and tried to pick up the rest of the series under the same circumstances (I ended up with 3 of the 8 books available at this time – 2017.) Finally, I decided to listen to Book 1 to see if it would draw me in. It DID and I was hooked. I devoured the whole series back to back – it took the better part of my Christmas holiday and then some. These are long books and I don't feel that a moment was wasted.

Sebastian York is one of my favorite male narrators and his performance is deserving of 5 stars plus
York performs Anthony/Tony's POV in books 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and 4. He does an amazing job.

Credit worthy? Yes, if you have invested in the previous books.

Notations: some strong language, violence and (not graphic) allusions of sexual situations

All the pieces of the puzzle!

4.5*

Revealed, gave me what I needed. Aleatha didn't disappoint! :)

I enjoyed seeing things through everyone's eyes:

Tony's, learning a true lesson. Justice, Punishment, Forgiveness and Hope.
Harry’s closure, Roach's loyalty, I love him!
Claire’s family not so much, I hate Emily!
Loved Courtney and many thanks to Meredith!

And Meredith's book passages, Claire's own words and then, her journals, bringing her back to this world, wow!

How Claire's life, managed to change everyone's lives is so amazing!
I love this character, it will stay with me forever!

Claire deserves happiness, deserves everything! If she did forgive Tony then I hope and I do believe Tony loves Claire, I can believe him too!

Finally the happy ending!(Guessed the name of the baby boy!)

Something you didn't realize you were missing, becomes exactly what you need! That's what Tony felt and made him change!

I know the Consequences series are not for everyone. I understand all the conflict... But it's a good story, dark and hard to read but if you're in the mood, go for it! You don't want to disappoint Tony! ;)

I will miss this series, I’m sad to say goodbye!

Thank you Aleatha! This was an amazing journey!

Must read the other books in this series to understand this book.
Tony finally has figured out what he wrongfully did to Claire.
Claire, unknowing believes she killed Tony, and will not speak about her beliefs. Emily thinking she is helping Claire puts her in another prison and keeps her from the truth.
Thank you Aleatha Romig for writing these last 3 books it all makes sense

So Glad It Revealed Everything!!!!

It really took me this forth book to make me better understand the previous three books of Consequences series. And I'm glad there's psychological explaination behind a man's cruelty, and the author also showed how much Anthony Rawlings atoning his sins and later prove himself a good person that deserves better life in the future.

Great narration...

Great narration throughout the series. This book finally completed a few storylines that bothered me in the books leading up to this. There were many times that I wanted to abandon these characters. What can I say, have to finish what I start. While I'm glad to get this information I am somewhat annoyed it was not added originally rather than 1.5, 2.5 and Revealed.

At last...

I loved Sebastian York's sexy voice. I read the previous three books of the consequences series and didn't find there was a lot of new material in this volume. That said I find that the author is quite gifted with words and the witty dialogue that she gave to Claire's book was extraordinary. Despite the unbelievable roller coaster that Anthony and Claire experienced, in the end it was all made sense. If you have read the other three books, this is the real ending. Worth your time!

DISTRESSING YET WONDERFUL SERIES

If you could sum up Revealed: The Missing Years in three words, what would they be?

You need to know the series before listening to this book. This is a dark but wonderful series and I loved it. This book added a lot of insight and background to the characters. Sebastian York was perfection as the narrator. PERFECTION!

Have you listened to any of Sebastian York’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Perfection as usual

Not much revealed!!!

More like a summary of the previous books in the series. I was looking for more.
I missed Claire’s voice; and this narrator did not sound like what Tony’s voice was described as - “ a deep baritone” - so I was very disappointed. Plus his voice was just a mild even tone with no other expression.
Could have been better with a narrator who sounded like “Tony” as described.
