Nice to tie up loose ends and answer a few questions.

This was less horror focused and was more about tying up any loose ends. While in the end some actions might not have mattered doesn't mean there aren't consequences. Also while expected it was a bittersweet ending. Still enjoyed it.

Great final act

I wasn’t sure if this was gonna be as good as the first book, but it was, and the last act really brought everything together.

Another one!

This was just as good as the first one. The twists and turns it took I was not expecting. Never mind the ugly crying a few times during the story or The outbursts! Worth the second dive into the farm…the pig is waiting!

Second book was NOT a disappointment

Oh my goodness, the narrator should read every book on this app. The story was fantastic and had me so invested. I highly recommend

That ending!?!

This is the second book I've read/listened to by Elias Witherow. I'm a hopeless romantic and that is my go to read/listen. I have been enjoying some different genres and decided to requested this audiobook because I listened to book one.

I forgot what I thought of book one. If you are a horror genre junkie, you may actually five star this story. It's well written with a storyline that I was invested in. I've RELEARNED that the horror part is not my thing. Remember, remember, remember... a note to self. The same warnings are needed as in book one with the addition that a CHILD was assaulted. I CRIED. I WAS HORRIFIED. If I had know...I'd have fast forward that part. once again there was total and complete grossness. I cringed so often. I hate that I needed to know the ending. And, for me, it was a heartbreaking ending. Gah.

Tom Jordan is an excellent narrator. I love his voice. He is easy to listen to for a longer period of time and he had this rolling like a movie 🤢 in my head. His performance was perfection.

Holy Buckets

There is quite a bit of violence, very detailed. The author does not shy away from the " taboo ", so if the reader is Squamish, its not for you.
I like that The Farm, is so different from what is out there on Horror novels.
It did make me a little nauseous, and tear up. I had some internal disagreements with the author as i was listening to the story.
And i think, that this is the whole point, when reading a book. To engage the reader.
Good job

Return to the Black Farm

okay the 1st book I was like WTF!! But this book made me kind of mad and sad. like why did they have to do those things to a little girl? I'm glad Nick saved her and took care of her. but it just killed me what Peter did to that poor girl. but for Nick to miss out so much of his life with his family was heartbreaking, but to also find out that Emily was okay made me happy. God these book are a bit off the wall for me, but I have to admit that they were good. heartbreaking but good. the narrator did an amazing job too.

Worthy sequel

Great follow up, I actually enjoyed the sequel more than the original. The author did a great job expanding upon the short stories that I had listened too previously.

Bittersweet ending

I thought it was great. I loved the first book, and I really feel like for all that has happened throughout both stories, this was the correct ending. I thought the narration was great, too.
