Hidden success
In a genre that is bloated with titles to choose from it is easy to get caught up with just window shopping authors and cover illustrations to find the next book to read. Which is why I am so glad that I gave this one a chance. The creative mind of this author provides a compelling narrative that artfully pulls the reader into the world he has created. Each nuanced detail put on display from the middle eastern culture to military tactics veiled in futuristic tech exude hints of real world experience. The author’s ability to weave timelines and character arcs together deserves recognition as it is very well executed and is something that readers will definitely continue to enjoy as the characters evolve in future books of this series. PS Rover has created the beginning of something readers should not sleep on.

I liked the different perspectives between Roland and Sulemon
It was an interesting story. I liked how even though the main character was tired he still did whatever he needed to do to complete his mission. It showed the kind of friends you make during dangerous encounters. I’m looking forward to the second book to see if Roland gets to rest.
