About this listen

Everyone wants a piece of the newly discovered alien tech, and they're willing to fight over it.

As tensions rise between Earth's various factions, the mining vessel Borag is refitted for war. She becomes a key player in a brewing conflict that threatens to shatter the fragile balance of power in the Solar System.

Sergeant Devin Starn of Red Company, the marine attachment stationed aboard Borag, heads into deep space once again. Starn and his squad must navigate a treacherous web of deceit and hidden agendas, defending their ship from increasingly powerful enemies.

In B. V Larson's Red Company: Contact, Starn faces his most harrowing challenges yet. Red Company's saga continues, exploring the vast expanse of the cosmos and seeking to answer the great question: what came before humanity?

Very good read, excitement and nice cools downs. I enjoyed the first two book, and this was not a let down in any way. Can't wait for the forth book.

Another great story line from BV Larson!!!

I hope this story goes the distance and not like Larson's shorter 3-book stories. The main character is a lucky underdog that seems to be in the right place at all the wrong times - yet succeeds in most cases. Mark Boyett is an awesome narrator and brings the story to life with his different voices for each character.

Really Enjoyed This Book

Good story, well narrated. It has some similarities to Undying Mercenaries in that the author is starting to make the main character more of a ladies man and plays like he's more of a fool than he actually is, but other than that it's different in every other way.

The best red company book yet

Great space battles. Loved the story telling of red company marines. Captain Starn kicks ass and gets the girl in the end. Mark Boyett out standing job with developing each characters voice with his narration and voice acting. Looking forward to the next book.

There is no karma in this universe

I love BV Larson and got my start with him through undying mercenaries. I definitely see a lot of character and narrative similarities. Mainly the main character whose seems to stumble through situations and come out just ahead while the ship and crew never do. The characters who deserve some justice never get it and the crew continues to be shit on. It’s a bit frustrating this far in dealing with the same dirty tricks. How the captain doesn’t see it coming I don’t know. That said, its entertaining enough I’ll give it another shot but I need some of the antagonists to get theirs. Please!
