About this listen

Full of imagination, wit and random sh*t flying through the air, this insane Frost Files adventure will blow your tiny mind.

Teagan Frost's life is finally back on track. Her role working for the government as a psychokinetic operative is going well, and she might even be on course for convincing her crush to go out with her. But, little does she know, that sh*t is about to hit the fan....

A young boy with the ability to cause earthquakes has come to Los Angeles - home to the San Andreas, one of the most lethal fault lines in the world. If Teagan can't stop him, the entire city - and the rest of California - could be wiped off the map.

Critic reviews

"Like Alias meets X-Men...I loved it!" (Maria Lewis on The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t with Her Mind)

"Proceeds at breakneck speed through almost 500 pages of madcap adventure, with some terrific jokes and plenty of tension." (Guardian)

"Teagan is a frank and funny narrator for this wild ride.... A fast-paced, high-adrenaline tale that manages to get into some dark themes without losing its sense of fun." (Kirkus)

Loved this book!

I really enjoyed the girl who could move Sh*t with her mind, but this book was even better! It completely exceeded my expectations as a follow up. The story is fun, a surprising antagonist, and readers are incredible! Really one of the best audio performances I have listened to.

Amazing superpowered story

Loved this book, even more than it predecessor. Love the different voices for the different perspectives and how well they paint the picture of the story. I really hope to get an audiobook of the third and upcoming fourth one. Because just reading the book isn't enough.

Delightfully weird, leaving you wanting more

The Frost Files have been a fun listen so far. The characters leave you wanting more. I can't believe they haven't done the third audiobook yet! Hey Audible, get a move on! We need to hear more from Teagan Frost!

Ready for book 3 !!

To the author -
A. LOVE LOVE LOVE Lauren Patten !! (record more books dude)
honestly I forget Annie, Tegan, and Reggie are all the same person let alone the male characters !!
B Missed Graham Halstead but Jesse Vilinsky was amazing with Matthews voice !!
C. You made me cry and you know why, not cool !!
D. Yeah not sure what happened with the romance but it was weird - there was a sex swing in Jonas room so I was expecting SOMETHING to happen... bummer dude.
(Nick who?)
E. Final request / comment in the next book can Tegan have a FRIEND with special powers ?! There have to be other good ones!! (maybe a cute German CEO has a secret of his own ??)

Wow. . .and with twists

Teagan Frost is a great character. When they make the movie I hope Hailee Steinfeld plays her, she's be perfect for the party.

TWISTS - oh yeah, there were some major twists in this book. The big one left we with a "Wait. . .WHAT?" feeling in my brain. There were twists and growth.

Villain - the villain did stretch things a bit, but they were given interesting limitations. I'd prefer a little more nuance in my villian - evil for evil's sake in a little hard to pull off. And the villains. . .um. . .henchman?. . .seemed to me to make really stupid decisions the author tried to justify but there can a point where I rolled my eyes and thought "for real? You're really going to do that?"

The ending was a little. . .anti-climatic? (Not the right word, but the best I can do). I mean some might disagree because the ending did have everything you could want, action, one hell of a ticking clock, big booms all around, but then. . .it's a little hard to explain without going into spoilers. I just wish there was more of a finality to it instead of a lead into the next installment. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't change my rating. It dfid worked on many levels but something about the ending picked some mental nits.

Over all an excellent installment to a great book. Looking forward to the next one.
