Everyone’s financial situation is different. Whatever may fit your budget may not fit mine and vice versa, keeping that in mind I wrote this book for those who want to enjoy the freedom of the open road but on a reasonable budget. If you are like me and live off of a limited monthly income; then you may enjoy what you find in this book. Even though I didn’t discuss how to find free foods or soup kitchens in different cities, I did discuss how to find a lot of everyday needs while RVing for cheap and sometimes free.

Story
For 30 years, drummer, author, and songwriter Neil Peart had wanted to write a book about "the biggest journey of all in my restless existence: the life of a touring musician." Finally, the right time, and the right tour. In the summer of 2004, after three decades, 20 gold albums, and thousands of performances, the band Rush embarked on a 30th Anniversary World Tour. The "R30" tour traveled to nine countries, where the band performed 57 shows for more than half a million fans. Uniquely, Peart chose to do his between-show traveling by motorcycle, riding 21,000 miles of back roads.

Story
Trapped in a job he hated and up to his neck in debt, Guy Grieve’s life was going nowhere. But with a stroke of luck, his dream of escaping it all to live in remote Alaska suddenly came true. Miles from the nearest human being and armed with only the most basic equipment, Guy built a log cabin from scratch and began carving a life for himself through fishing, hunting, and diligently avoiding bears. Packed with adventure, humor, and insight, this is the gripping story of an ordinary man learning the ways of the wild.

Story
A landmark in travel writing, this is the incredible true story of Heinrich Harrer’s escape across the Himalayas to Tibet, set against the backdrop of the Second World War. Heinrich Harrer, already one of the greatest mountaineers of his time, was climbing in the Himalayas when war broke out in Europe. He was imprisoned by the British in India but succeeded in escaping and fled to Tibet.

Continent is good, recording is terrible
Although the contents is relatively good, it’s very dated material, and I’m not sure from which country they reside. They refer to gasoline or petrol, as well as referring to a standard household toilet that takes 5 gallons to flush. The recording sounds as though it was read by a computer. It jumps at the end of a paragraph to read a table verbatim only to continue after the table. I think actually reading this book would be a much better option.

Hard to follow
I am wondering if this was recorded using microphone and then they used google translate. It is a rambling stream of consciousness with things that don’t make sense (buy the América the gorgeous park pass instead of America the beautiful/ great Sams club instead of good Sams/etc). The odd sentence structure made it hard to follow
