Publisher's summary

Thrilling suspense and adventure combine with masterful storytelling in the fourth in the Lost and Found series from the acclaimed #1 New York Times bestselling author, as a cache of mementos is the catalyst for a search into Luna’s own past.

Sometimes, two very different pieces of furniture just pair perfectly together.

Brother and sister Cullen and Luna Bodman work much the same way. While practical-minded Cullen Bodman focuses on their family’s antiques restoration business, his sister Luna’s next-door Namaste Café, and her flair for design and color, bring in new clientele.

As a thank-you to his sister, Cullen decides to retrieve Luna’s childhood dresser from storage and refinish it. Delighted to see the old dresser again, Luna rummages through the drawers looking for lost treasures, and discovers a shoebox full of cartoons drawn by her one-time friend, Brendan.

Prompted to reconnect, Luna looks for him online and is shocked when an internet search reveals that Brendan passed away. But beyond her sadness is a deeper unease sparked by her uncanny intuition. Something about the announcement seems off. That feeling intensifies when she later glimpses a person who seems to be Brendan’s doppelganger. His laugh, his walk—Luna remembers both so well.

Is her old friend really alive? And if so, who faked his death, and why? It’s not the first time an item of furniture has spurred Luna to solve a fascinating puzzle. But this time, the mystery is much more personal, and the stakes infinitely higher....

not much of a mystery

I was kind of disappointed I feel like now the author's just trying to draw this storyline out between Luna and the Marshall. there wasn't much of a mystery or suspense in this book which is what I had expected when I purchased it.
