A Good book

This was a good book. I enjoyed the story enough. I would rate it a 3.5. It isn't my favorite story that I have heard or listened to by this author. It had a lot of good and enjoyable parts. There were some parts that would be triggers to some though. I liked some of the characters and didn't like others. Sometimes the story seemed to drag on and other times it was interesting and captivation. Overall it was a good story and I am sure others will enjoy it.

Great listen

I discovered Diane Chamberlain's books a few months ago and once I get done one, I can't wait to get onto the next one. She always has the east coast incorporated into her stories and I love that coming from Maine.

To long...

I kept expecting it to end and easily could have two hours before it did. The story was good but again so much towards the end unnecessary.

Good summer read

I'm a huge fan of Diane Chamberlain, and for some reason this book didn't quite seem like a Chamberlain book, however I did enjoy listening to it. It's not as deep as some Chamberlain books, but for a light summer read, it was good. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, which I thought were well developed. There are other of her books I liked better, but this one really wasn't too bad

Not bad...except for the narrator

The storyline is pretty good!
The narrators voice and intonation was less than perfect. She sounds out of breath and too intense throughout.
I enjoyed the tale so tolerated it.

Good, but agravating

Wonderful story in all and well written. I did however find it aggravating to listen as Kit and Cole's relationship develops throughout the book. It made it difficult to relax and enjoy the story. A bit of up and down is necessary, but this took it to another level of frusteration.

I loved Karen White's voice so so much, I know the book cover pulled me in immediately. such a great read/listen.

What other book might you compare Private Relations to and why?

I always run or think of Debbie Macomber's books immediately. Not sure why? ( ;

Which scene was your favorite?

what is not to love ... so many to pick from.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not so PRIVATE, huh?

Any additional comments?

Great storyline

Started off slow and thrown off by French accent but by chapter 5 I was captivated by the story.

Private relations

This had a difficult story line. The narration was in need of help. I usually enjoy this author, but I don't know what happened with this.
