Great Start !
Really liked this storyline and found it to be a great start to this series. Very strong and believable characters ! Thought Stacey Glemboski did a great job as narrator. Looking forward to the next book.

Great Story! Awesome Post apocalyptic story!
This genre is not my usual go to genre, I came across this Author by way of a different PA series. I tend to stick to what I know and love. But I am very glad I opened my bubble a bit. Kyla Stones writing and story sucked me in. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. And would / have recommended to many in my book circle. I have read / listened to many of her other series and she is now one of my top authors. Thank you!

Nuclear event
I will not summarize this story because it was already given in the description of this book and I do not want to give any of the plot away. The purpose of this review is to give potential readers information to make an informed decision about reading or listening to this book.
What I enjoyed about this book:
• The concept of a nuclear attack that was not from a missle.
• I learned a lot about radiation and how a nuclear bomb works.
• How the novel was told from the viewpoints of the four main characters.
1. Dakota
2. Logan
3. Eden
4. Maddox
• The narrator did an excellent job in differentiating the various characters' voices. I will want to listen to more books narrated by her.
What I did not enjoy:
• The constant graphic description of nuclear damage to people. I would have preferred general descriptions, after the initial description were given.
This novel is part of a series, so there is not an ending, yet.
I was given a free audiobook by the author. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own.

Action packed!
This first book in Kyla Stone’s Nuclear Dawn series is addicting. She has woven a cast of characters with very real human flaws and failings all trying to survive a nuclear attack on America. This story immediately grabbed my attention and kept me on edge until the final word. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series to see how Dakota and the group fare in post-apocalyptic Miami. Stacey Glemboski's narration make this story come alive!

interesting... so far
this is an interesting premise (multiple nuclear bombs decimating several prominent US cities), but this book only deals with the Miami one, and only a small group of people. It is a bit slower paced than I would have preferred. But I know it's a series, and I'm definitely jumping right into the next to see how it all works out.

Great!
The is a very descriptive and mesmerizing tail of the survivors of a nuclear blast. The characters are vividly described in the story. I enjoyed the story line and facts detailed about the fallout. There is a few different storylines in play. I highly recommend this series.

Nucflash Event
Kyla Stone takes us on a journey as her characters deal with the detonation of at least three nuclears bombs in major cities across the US. Some folks may be offended by the language but lets face it this is an even that warrants some cussing. Overall the author does a great job of developing her characters and providing enough post apoc information to be interesting but not preachy. I normally don't like female narrators but Stacey Glemboski did a great job of breathing life into the story. I look forward to listening to book 2 on audible when released.

Great Read
Point of Impact (Nuclear Dawn #1) was a great read by Kyla Stone. Dakota Sloane is a tough as nails former foster kid. The only family she has is her sister that is still in the system. The news starts showing bombs striking major cities. Dakota just wants to get her sister and leave. Logan Garcia just wants to drink himself into oblivion to get away from his secrets. Dakota offers Logan a deal that involves a safe place that she knows of. She'll take him there if he helps get her sister. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more in this series.

Needs more story wrapup
Loved the information that was given during the book and like the characters but felt like this was just one long chapter and it was not an ending point yet. Should have continued the story to resolve more of the intertwined stories at least.

On The Edge
Kyla Stone keeps you guessing, building her characters. I have read all her books and the final book in this series is due out mid September. Dakota and her crew have traversed many obstacles and they aren't finished yet. Stacey Glemboski was a wonderful narrator. Pleasant to listen to, and moved with the different scenarios as the book moved on. If you are looking for a great read then pick up her books on Kindle. What can I say just amazing.
