Editorial reviews

An exciting collaboration between two experienced authors, Poe: An Alexandra Poe Thriller, written by Brett Battles and Robert Gregory Browne, delivers intense drama with a fierce female lead: the titular Alexandra Poe, an Iraq war veteran embroiled in a dangerous search for her allegedly treasonous father. Actor Abby Craden brings a tense energy to her narration of this suspenseful novel, and proves especially adept at bringing Alexandra herself to life. Press play and let Craden sweep you away into a world of international intrigue…but with plot twists aplenty, just know that you may find it hard to press stop.

Enjoyed the story. Narration, not so much

So, yeah I did enjoy this story. I liked Alex she is a bad azz, smart, witty and funny, I like those qualities in a female lead character.
The story line and plot was good. There was a lot going on all the time. Interesting to purposely get arrested in another country so you can go to prison to break someone out. That was fun.

I like Cooper a lot more than I like Deuce. Deuce was a bit immature for my liking.

As for the narration, sigh.......... Not very good in my opinion. It was dull, and boring and the reading voice was meh. Please find a new narrator. Brittany Pressley is perfect for these types of books.
