Very enlightening look at Rosanne's story.
As heartbreaking as it was informative. Looking forward to learning more of Rosanne's story.
A+ work, Ayman Mohyeldin.

Sad story but informative.
Loved the podcast but not sure if this was meant to be a tv broadcast. There are parts where it says"watch here" or "as you can see here". Either way it's a great podcast and shocking how fast a person can be changed.

"Another Vulnerable person ,dead ,following Trump"
Trumps hands are bathed in Blood. How many have passed away indirectly because they believe? The truth is he doesn't give a damn as long as he's able to manipulate those looking for something are someone to give their lives meaning seriously is being an American so tough that some actually can't see past his speeches and judge him by his actions?? Grab them by the pussy, Covid isn't any worse than the flu, I know nothing about Q except the folks that follow it with cult like behavior love me ,so what's not to like? the fact that people are dying and hurt by his incredible ego mean nothing! my God we are living in a country that people in many other countries dream about yet he and the people he manipulates cannot just be happy to thank God they are American!!!! Its time for our justice system to hold him and a significant number evil Republicans that follow him accountable for the blood of folks like this vulnerable woman.

I find it hard...
Very well produced podcast with an extraordinary story... then I thought about how these people sought, and still seek to take the country back to to the racial and social depravity of the 1920-30s if they could! This would mean that me, my family and loved ones would once again be under the yoke of the most barbaric form of oppression, so try as I might, I found it hard to care... This is off-brand for me, but I'll keep listening.

Fascinating podcast
I found this fascinating, extremely well balanced, and sad at the same time. As was said several times in the podcast, Roseanne Boyland was both a victim and a perpetrator. She was victimized by the right wing pushing conspiracy theories and by YouTube for allowing conspiracy theories to not only be on their platform, but to be pushed to people like Ms. Boyland. When 100% of the stories being pushed to a person are lies and conspiracy theories, who should be surprised when that person becomes radicalized and starts believing everything she is seeing and reading.?

Sadly, More Common Than You'd Think
Its a sad, but well-told story. I was drawn to it because I, too, have lost someone to online radicalization. In my case, it is the misinformation spread by anti-vaxxers that has drawn my friend down the rabbit hole. but like Rosanne Boyland, she is energized by the idea that she is a "truth teller" and is saving kids. I just hope she doesn't end up like Boyland, but nothing would surprise me. I think the Pandora's Box of the Internet has made this phenomenon more common than you'd like to think, and difficult to combat because the energy they draw from their "cause" is greater than your love, or history together - or both - as demonstrated by the loss and bewilderment her family still feel. Shocking, sad, but happening every day. Great listen if you find yourself in a similar situation.

This is a hard listen...
I'm a lesbian, and it was really really hard for me during the Trump Era. I faced some aweful stuff and so did many of my friends and family. Finding pity for a Trump supporter is not easy for me. But this is important, after all she was more than just a Trump supporter, she had a history, people love her. Everyone deserves justice, and if she was radicalized, its even more important to get justice. Irs almost like being absorbed into a cult, more a victim than part of thr problem. I also grew up in this area...so it was a bitter sweet listen for me.
It is a well done podcast.
