Excellent Adaptation

I have not read the complete novel but enjoyed this full cast adaptation. Unlike some other reviewers, I enjoyed the music at the beginning of each segment. I was listening with a speaker and not with earphones, so the increase in volume did not bother me. The narrators were all very good, but the low volume with some of the speakers made it difficult to understand what they were saying especially if I wasn't right next to the portable speaker. This audiobook made me interested in reading the novel. My favorite part was the beautiful letter that Captain Wentworth wrote to Ann. Whether you've read the novel or not, I think you would enjoy this adaptation.

I loved the dramatized version

An engaging version from a favorite author. The only issue is the volume goes up and down sometimes.

Producer mia

What with the varying volume levels of each narrator (not to mention the tween sounding actors portraying mostly 30 somethings) and the deafening musical interludes, it was def hard to enjoy a classic. I usually thoroughly enjoy a full cast narration. But it was free; there's that.

Full cast for the win

I have read this book a few times, but having the full cast and performance details added in brought the story to life. Very enjoyable.

Wonderful portrayal of Persuasion

The cast was most wonderful. I had been listening to another version and was delighted when my husband bought this one for me. Listened to it in 1.5 days it was that good.

An absolute delight.

The production of this audio version is outstanding. Florence Pugh is the perfect narrator; highly intelligent with a warm, approachability that lifts you through each chapter. Exceptional casting for all the characters - especially Captain Wentworth. ❤️

Well done!!

I truly enjoyed this audiobook.
Very good narrator. One thing maybe needs attention might be the sound or volume of the different characters are too off.

Great production, but sound mixing is a bit off

I really enjoyed it, but the difference in volume of narrating, actors, and background noises was a bit annoying.
