PREPARE TO BE AMAZED. THIS WORKS.
I couldn't believe my luck (well, actually I could) when I came across this title and author. I discovered Glenn Harrold's Meditation series (using the Solfeggio scale vibrational musical tones) through 'Breethe', and he quickly became one of my favorites to listen to when I practiced my daily meditation. Meditation has changed my life in the most incredible ways. I am so excited to wake up each day now, because they just keep getting better.
Now, to this particular one - Natural Weight Loss. I read the other reviews, including the one that said it doesn't work. Knowing how much Glenn's other guided meditations and hypnotherapies have worked for me, I had to try it. I'm delighted to be able to say - THIS DOES WORK.
You need to follow his instructions and listen when you can relax and not be disturbed, using headphones. or earphones. I listen to this at night when I'm going to sleep, and again in the morning when I wake up.
It has completely changed my eating habits and takes all the stress out of 'dieting' because you actually are NOT dieting. You are eating healthy foods in the right amounts and your energy levels are boosted. The further you go, the better you feel and the easier it becomes. It's also effortless because you will find you no longer even think about eating the wrong things, or eating too much food.
A little background: In 2008, my weight was out of control at 250 pounds. I dieted, and got down to 170 pounds, and eventually to 150 pounds by 2017. It's been a constant struggle for me. I'd creep back up ten or fifteen, even twenty pounds, panic, then lose weight again because I promised myself in 2008 I would never allow myself to be that heavy again.
It's been eleven years now, so I've beaten the statistics that say most people regain ALL the weight and more within five years. I didn't, and I'm proud of my achievements. Yet, until I found this guide, it has been a struggle. I can say it is worth it, because it feels so much better every minute of every day to be at a healthy weight.
Using guided hypnotherapy and meditation takes all the struggle and temptation away, allowing me to spend my time focusing on the things I want to focus on. I love it.
One day, I hope to meet this man, shake his hand and thank him for caring enough about his fellow human beings to use his speaking and writing skills to change lives for the better. I'm a writer too, and I like to refer to these positive changes as being a part of my own personal "Starfish" story - the one that ends, "It made a difference to that one."
If you are struggling to control your weight, I hope my review encourages you to purchase this book and you use it to change your life for the better in amazing ways.

Disappointing
I've purchased several of Glenn Harrold's meditation recordings and have found them to be very beneficial for relaxing, breathing deeply, and visiting delightful gardens, lakes, and woods. That's why I was so disappointed in this meditation. Other than three affirmations about being in control of my eating habits, loving exercise, and always feeling healthy, everything else is repetitive from other meditations. I recommend listening to the wisdom recording instead of spending $0.95 for this one. It's not even worth that.
