A fun and fast-paced read

The book grabbed me right from the get-go, and it didn't let go all throughout. It's expertly paced, with short chapters that keep you hooked. I especially love the combination between the real world and the game world, with action happening in both places, sometimes at once.

There is a smart thesis underlying the book, that deals with modern technology and the negative impact it can have if placed in the wrong hands.

All of this is topped up by an amazing ending. Really, really enjoyed it.

Amazing pacing

Tense, fluid and well written. The characters are very real and relatable. I recommend. Narrator does a tour-de-force.

Great story! Impeccable narration.

Michael Kramer is my favorite narrator, and he doesn't disappoint here. The story is really engaging, with great characters that have believable arcs.

Nice action, a few surprising twists and a banger of an ending

Gripping, smart and intense

This book flows fast, hopping from one interesting scene to the other. Every chapter is justified, and most end on small cliffhangers that compel you to keep reading

I really enjoyed Marcus as a main character, as well as the other one (which I won’t spoil) Marcus’ arc feels natural and rewarding

Narrator is excellent. I hadn’t heard of him before, but apparently he’s very famous. I can see what.

Anyway, give this a listen!
