About this listen

After saving the world multiple times, Percy Jackson is hoping to have a normal senior year. Unfortunately, the gods aren’t quite done with him. Percy will have to fulfill three quests in order to get the necessary three letters of recommendation from Mount Olympus for college. The first quest is to help Zeus’s cup-bearer retrieve his goblet before it falls into the wrong hands. Can Percy, Grover, and Annabeth find it in time? Listeners new to Percy Jackson (you can enjoy this book as a standalone) and fans who have been awaiting this reunion for more than a decade will delight equally in this latest hilarious take on Greek mythology.

Critic reviews

"More than 10 years have passed since listeners first adventured with Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Narrator Jesse Bernstein doesn't disappoint as he returns in this sixth installment.... Bernstein wonderfully captures Percy's excitement and sarcastic humor.... Listeners will enjoy this delightful reunion with its mix of nostalgia, romance, adventure, and humor." (AudioFile)

Was great but need's 🤏 more

So glad to have a Percy Jackson book, so many I've been with the Percy Jackson books since I was a teenager myself and it's awesome as an adult to still be reading and loving the same books through audible. my biggest complaint though is that the book was just so small, they accomplished a lot in the time but coming from the series that usually averages between 12 and 16 hours for an audiobook to be just over 7 is a little disappointing. Admittedly I'm not that disappointed because I know that there will be more books to come, but I also feel that there was a lot that could've been added or embellished in the book. was really hoping there would be more fat to chew per se, hoping that it covered more time in the story so that we might get the chance to meet more of the other characters that we've come to know and love, hoping that comes in the next set of books, also hoping those books are longer as well. Overall just super happy to have the Percy Jackson series back especially after the letdown of the Nico and will solace book that kind of flopped in my opinion. Mostly because it's blatantly evident Rick Riordan didn't write that one his co-author did...

Just like old times

As someone who grew up with Percy Jackson as a child now 25. This story brought me back to when I was reading the lighting thief for the very first time. Filled Greek history, learning opportunities (academically and socially) and of course sarcasm. It was a delight to hear the original voice actor for this series bring Percy to life once again!

I will always recommend the series to all ages... boomers included!

Thank you Uncle Rick for this amazing series old, new and what is to come!

The piece of Percy Jackson that we all needed

Love! The narrator is great, the story is very chill and not high stakes like the typical ones. I loved it! I wish there was a slightly more mature air about it, Percy in HOO had an older feel like he was in high school, this book brought me back to middle school, but still in a good way!
