Great start to the series

Very decent series with a rocky beginning. Overall I like the plot and story line along with the pacing and progression. I do have to say that the dialog needs work as its stilted or poorly constructed. The Mc is a very interesting tool half the book. The side characters are a bit 1 dimensional. The monsters funny enough have more care done in their description then some people. The Narrator I'm not too familiar with but doesn't detract from the story. Overall I gotta recommend it. Add this series to your watch list because it could be big.

Is the human race doomed?

If you go by the set up of this story unless they come up with the equivalent of nukes, humanity will fall. So I still loved the book but to portray the enemy as just so powerful as to just lay down and die bothers me.

Great book

Loved the book and will buy book 2 to read but I had trouble listening to this at some parts. The voice actress basically has the same voice for every woman character and got hard to track who was talking with multiple women in a scene.

Too good for a short book

I normally don’t buy any book that is under twenty hours long but I got this one by mistake. And it turned out to be really good. Now I’m passed off because I’m going to be using my credits on these short books.

Excellent start

I’m loving this so far. And I think I can trust the author. I like the narrator from 'portal to nova Roma' which is an awesome series, but he should pick up the pace more.

I've finished book two, and I'm still enjoying the series. The MC sometimes becomes hysterical. The author works hard to make the experience real and not a game. I'd prefer a more stable MC but he is pretty likable.

Not bad for a start of a new series

This was a very interesting word setting, and a nice new take on the system, apocalypse storyline. The combination of a system apocalypse, and an Isekai story was good. The main character, being smart and dumb at the same time was a nice take. It’s worth getting the next book.

Jaimie

I found the main character to be palatable for most of the story. However, he makes very very stupid decisions imo. Overall I can get passed his bad decisions because this story is good.
