Redo

The pronunciation of the Orishas makes my skin crawl. The magic spells and offerings are misleading. Any IFA would never ever allow devotees to do non crowned people to do these offerings without knowing who Oshun is and her true stories. I regret but in the other books from this author.

Great Quick Read! Narration...was um...in need of improvement.

The book was a great intro to Oshun; however, the very American pronunciation of Yoruba and Spanish words were disappointing. The juxtaposition initially frustrated me because this is a spiritual book with spiritual information and it would appear that no attempt was made to be respectful of that. If you can get over that, you're golden.
