Publisher's summary

If my time with Ryan Miller were a hit track on the radio, I imagine the lyrics would go something like this...

"We're so different, but they say opposites attract. Oops, I've fallen, and my heart doesn't want to come back."

His dad lives right next to my mom, and after the two of them suffered an unexplained accident while taking down holiday decorations, both Ryan and I were forced to become the only 30something residents of Sunny Creek Village Independent Senior Living Community.

Constantly thrown together by the antics of our crazy parents and the tough-as-nails community enforcer, Betty Matthews, Ryan and I formed an alliance for the sole purpose of survival. But I never expected to be so interested in finding out what he was hiding beneath his grumpy, serious demeanor. More than that, I never dreamed what I found would be the kind of man women sell their souls to the devil for.

Unfortunately, our little one-hit wonder on the airwaves has more to say before it comes to an end. Although, finishing the outro to this song is a real doozy....

Tell me...what lyric rhymes with "Oops, I've fallen for my future stepbrother"?

Feisty love

First, the narration was amazing! I loved the 4 parts being voiced in different ways. It was such a fun listen.
Second, the banter and the pull was felt throughout. I loved listening to these two get to know each other and then figure out haw to navigate their feelings.
10/10.

Outstanding and HILARIOUS

Not only were these narrators incredible with the multiple personalities they voiced for, but Max Monroe’s humor in this books is laugh out loud, just what the doctor ordered. Such a great Rom-Com to lighten things up, even if you’re not usually a Rom-Com listener, you should listen to this. I feel like I just reunited with my best friend and we spent hours laughing - just go listen!

Best book yet!

Hilarious old people acting like teens. Then you have their grown children sneaking around behind the old people as well as trying to control the senior zoo. Throw in some smack talk, near throw downs, and a senior arrest and I need CPR just to restart my breathing after laughing so hard.
Great job Max & Monroe!

Second Chance at Love ❤️🎿🧻💙

Carly and Ryan have a very interesting romance. Which makes sense because they have interesting parents. From their first meeting fighting over a taxi, to their many surprises at the end, their love story is FUN and HOT!

I like when opposites find each other. She’s a free spirit and he’s wound tight, until they start their affair, and he’s a man on a mission.

A fun, entertaining read of elderly hi jinx and finding that special love later in life.

Narrators do a nice job.

OMG 😆 this is one of the most hilarious books I’ve ever read/listened to. I can’t count the amount of times I laughed while listening to this! The parents in the retirement community are by far the best part. Oh the shenanigans that went on in this 🤣 I was so sad when this ended because I wanted more! I HIGHLY recommend this, especially the audiobook!!!

𝘽𝙇𝙐𝙍𝘽:

If my time with Ryan Miller were a hit track on the radio, I imagine the lyrics would go something like this… “We’re so different, but they say opposites attract. Oops, I’ve fallen, and my heart doesn’t want to come back.” But, holy bingo night, is my attraction to the sexy, broody businessman so much more complicated than the chorus of a song. His dad lives right next to my mom, and after the two of them suffered an unexplained accident while taking down holiday decorations, both Ryan and I were forced to become the only thirtysomething residents of Sunny Creek Village Independent Senior Living Community. Temporarily moving in might seem like overkill for a fractured tailbone and a severely pulled groin muscle, but believe me, when your mom is as wild as mine and your dad is as cantankerous as Ryan’s, they need supervision to ensure they stick to doctor’s orders. Although, finishing the outro to this song is a real doozy... Kept Me Smiling

Stella and Sal my favorite couple! Carly, a fun loving chaotic woman falls in love with Ryan an A-Type , straightlaced man. This mismatched couple creates havoc in their parents retirement village, in Tampa FL. The times their parents acted like teenagers and they the “adults” was hilarious to listen to. Stephanie Rose and. Alexander Cendise did a great job created the voices of Carly/Ryan and Stella/Sal. Excellent!
