Publisher's summary
A closed-door, Small Town, Forced Proximity, He Falls First romance from Amazon best-selling author Susan Henshaw.
Clementine
When my best friend passes away, her twin brother finally comes home.
Regardless of how Silas keeps pinning me with those eyes, or how I can’t breathe whenever he smiles, I won’t forgive how he amputated me from his life a decade ago.
If I can make it through the will reading, I’ll never see him again. I’m certain of that.
But when the will is read, I can’t believe my ears. Sophie left her daughter for me to raise.
But, not just me.
Silas too.
Silas
It’s just like my twin to concoct some wily scheme now that she’s out of reach.
Of course, we can’t sign a few papers and divide Anna’s life down the middle. Sophie had to throw in an insane stipulation: the three of us must reside together for ninety days before a custody arrangement can be made.
Now, I’m forced to spend the summer sleeping across the hall from the one woman I moved two thousand miles to avoid.
I’m fairly certain when my sister asks us to do this One Last Thing for her, she’s having one last laugh at my expense.
Perfect for fans who enjoy big emotions, crackling chemistry, and steamy kisses. Books in the Seddledowne Series are connected but can be read in any order.

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

This is such a sweet, heartwarming story 🥹 I absolutely adored every single moment of this book. The narrators do such a great job bringing the characters to life! Anna was definitely my favorite character, seeing just how resilient she is was inspiring. The banter and tension between Clementine aka Lemon, and Silas was soooo good! I listened to this in one sitting. Highly recommend

Bingeable Small Town Romance!
Short Synopsis:
When Clementine’s (AKA Lemon’s) best friend, Sophie, passes away, Sophie leaves her daughter, Anna, to Clementine and Sophie’s twin brother, Silas. The catch? They’re not together. And Sophie is requiring them to stay under the same roof for 90 days.
My Thoughts:
Cowboy romances have been all the rage the last few years - but shockingly this is my first. Thank you Susan Henshaw for easing me in to the genre.
This was a sweet emotional romance with complicated family dynamics. I loved how Lemon faced things head on as she put the pieces of her life back together. Silas was so far gone for Clementine and his dedication was beautiful. But Anna with her spunk was my favorite character.
CJ Mission and Rebecca Gibel are the audiobook narrators for this one. And they did such a beautiful job bringing Silas and Lemon to life.
What You’ll Find:
Cowboy romance
Small town
Forced proximity
Best friend’s brother
Matchmaker

I love this series!
Silas Dupree thought he’d left his hometown - and his childhood crush, Clementine Shepherd far behind. But life has other plans when his twin sister, Sophie, passes away, leaving behind her teenage daughter, Anna, and a will that forces Silas and Clementine to co-parent under one roof for ninety days.
Susan Henshaw ropes you in with:
Friends to lovers
Dual POV
Forced proximity
Slow burn
Tire slashing!
He makes her quesadillas!
It’s a beautiful story of loss and grieving, redemption, being seen, and loved for who you are!
I HIGHLY recommend!!
There are 3 books out in the Seddledowne series. I can’t wait to get the other two on audio.

An Affecting & Romantic Story
This was my first experience with this author's work. I thought the story was sad, tragic, heartwarming and engendered an emotional roller-coaster for me as it unfolded. I enjoyed the small town setting. I liked the characters as they were realistic and personable. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I was entertained by the dual narrations of C.J. Mission and Rebecca Gibel, and I felt that their performances enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
