Jennifer Baggiero did a great job narrating, but the audio quality was a bit hollow. Baggiero has a nice voice for narrating.

My first introduction to the series

Within that one week, Natalya notices that her parents are having marital problems and are hiding their problems from her. Both want her to stay focus on landing the main role of the School of Performing Arts' end-of-the-year showcase. Within one week, Natalya completed her audition and is waiting for the results. Within that same week, everything changes in her life.
Natalya has to live up to her mother's fame. She doesn't have the techniques down but her ability to interrupted music into dance makes her a lead competitive dancer. Natalya feels so comfortable in her audition that she doesn't feel threaten by her competition. She proves it by offering critique to her second best in the performing arts school. The story goes back and forth from her current state in the hospital and the seven day events of what lead to her to being in the hospital.
The narrator, Jennifer Baggiero delivers a wonderful Russian accent for Natalya and her parents. Listeners would be able to hear her narration from a Russian teenager's perception of what dancing means to her.
The story is so short that I listened to the audiobook twice. I love the way Natalya and her parents speak to each other. The narrator did a great job with the Russian accent and vocabulary of endearments.
I was given this book by the author in exchange of an honest review. I was not compensated or influenced in any way for writing this review.

Good story

I have not read "One, Two, Three" so this prequel was a first look into a teen ballerina's dysfunctional family. The story moves before and after the tragedy that changes her life forever. I now want to read the previous book to see where this story goes.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed.
