Publisher's summary

He's ruthless, and he does his job well, but he is very strict, rude and professional...in court. In his office and private life, he's a total bad boy playboy.

Dylan: I take what I want. Whether that be in court or in my bedroom. My father has taken a liking to something. Or rather, someone: Yvette. There is no way I am going to stand for that.

I've never lost a case before. But this was the first time I did. I had to get to the bottom of it. If not for my client, then for my own sanity. But will I be able to? What am I going to do about Yvette? She's too good at her job to try to risk pursuing, but God do I want her so bad!

Yvette: I was just doing my job. The job I wanted so badly. He's so strict at work. And I want him. But he's my boss! I'm at the verge of quitting. What am I going to do? I need to solve and win this case in court otherwise I'm just going to go backwards.

Object Me is a bad boy lawyer romance. There is no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed happy ending!

Cute, but very rushed

Cute little love story if you are in hurry and need a quick read! Overall the performance was good, but it seem to be lacking a little emotion at times...

Great Read

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I loved this book. I have never read/listened to this authors work before. She did a great job of developing a strong story with good characters. Once starting this book, I didn't want to put it down. I did get frustrated a few times when Yvette wouldn't stand up for herself. She finally pulled through. And, of course, the hunky Dylan (bad boy) didn't disappoint. The narrator did a good job. Have listened to her many times.

Hot Little Listen

3 1/2 Stars - Yvette is just starting her law career and as the low person on the totem pole, it falls to her to fetch the coffee for her hot new boss, Dylan. Hotshot attorney, Dylan wants a lot more from Yvette than coffee, but so does Dylan’s dear ole Dad… Ugh! Don’t you just hate that?

When I first started listening to Object Me, I thought it was going to be a light listen, but it actually turned darker towards the middle of this 4 ½ hour audiobook and then it lightened up again towards the end. It’s a nicely written, hot little listen.

The audiobook is narrated Elizabeth Redmond and she does a decent job of narrating, but I have to say I became confused several times and couldn’t tell if it was Dylan or Yvette’s POV, there’s wasn’t enough variation between the two main characters and it was a little frustrating. Overall, I recommend this audiobook and will definitely add future Roxy Sinclair audiobooks to my growing list!

This audiobook was given to me at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review, thanks, Audiobook Boom!

Hot & Steamy Shorter Listen Office Romance

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. This audiobook was an interesting listen for some hot and steamy office romance and eargasms. I narrator did a good job bringing the characters and story to life. My only criticism is that if an author writes a male and female POV, there should be two different male and female performers. I get too distracted and confused sometimes trying to keep up with the attempt at a deeper voice or higher voice, depending on if a male or female is performing both POV's. Otherwise interesting storyline.

Nieve or push over? Still not sure

Would you consider the audio edition of Object Me to be better than the print version?

Yes, I think it was well preformed. Though in all fairness I haven't read the print version but I do know I was entertained.

Would you be willing to try another book from Roxy Sinclaire? Why or why not?

Yes I have read some of Roxy Sinclair's other book oks and absolutely loved them, but I was a bit disappointed with this one. I felt like it was more rushed than her other books in the story telling.

Which character – as performed by Elizabeth Redmond – was your favorite?

I actually really liked Dylan. But she did Fanta with all the characters and you always knew who was speaking, and what their mood was.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I wouldn't say moved me, but more made me feel like yelling at Yvette that she is clueless and needed to grow a spine sometimes.

Any additional comments?

I think the story itself is what made me feel on the fence about this book. It was well performed, well plotted, and has a great delivery, but the story itself just rubbed me wrong for some reason. It felt intrusive and verges on sexual harassmenty feelings for me as opposed to an affair with a sexy boss. I think that if Yvette had resisted things more, or didn't seem so clueless about others and it was not so quick on the draw with the actions between Dylan and Yvette but maybe drawn out and built up more it would have felt less creepy and more swoony for me. However I have read a lot of Roxy's books and loved them. Maybe it was just me, on an off day? I would say it's worth trying it out for yourself. I was given this audiobook for free from audiobook boom for my unbiased review.

Billionaire appeal

Good listen. I think Yvette could have be a little tougher but otherwise a good listen.

Object Me

Object Me is a short-ish romance novel with a side of legal drama. The sexy scenes are steamy, which is always a plus! In my opinion the narration needed a little help because there was so little difference between voices that I often found myself thinking one character was speaking only to find out it was another one entirely. It got confusing from time to time.

Not up To Author's Standards

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No, it was not what I expected from R Sinclaire. I have listened to many of her books and this one seemed as if she was rushing to meet a deadline and just churned something out.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would have developed each character more, added more details to the story, and created more drama without being overbearing.

Would you be willing to try another one of Elizabeth Redmond’s performances?

Perhaps, in the future when she has more books under her belt so that you can tell which character is speaking.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

I have no clue.

Any additional comments?

I got this book via audiobook boom. I enjoy the author's books but this one was not what she turns out.

Object Me

Would you try another book from Roxy Sinclaire and/or Elizabeth Redmond?

Absolutely

Any additional comments?

I believe I would have perceived this book a lot different if I had read it instead of listen to the audiobook.
The story is good but I don`t think the narrative was the best, it come across as aggressive and I wasn't sure if I wanted to like either one of the lead characters to be honest.
Elizabeth has a great voice and will only improve but I really couldn't get into this audio, no change in tone from female/male.

Object Me

Any additional comments?

I so badly wanted to like this but found the plot just too unbelievable to really enjoy. The narration could have been better and her constant pronunciation of "second" as "secont" (one of my biggest pet peeves!) bordered on annoying. Two seemingly intelligent lawyers usually acted anything but. The saving grace was the happy ending.
